1 Peter 1:3 (NLT) Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose again from the dead.
THREE PHASES TO THE EXTREME MAKEOVER
PHASE ONE: NEW LIFE THROUGH FAITH
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NCV) If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!
PHASE TWO: NEW LIFE THROUGH DEATH
Luke 23:43 (NLT) And Jesus replied, I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.
2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV) We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
PHASE THREE: NEW LIFE AT THE RESURRECTION
Hebrews 10:35(NLT) But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection.
I EXPECT AN EXTREME MAKEOVER OF…
1. MY BODY – April 15
1 Corinthians 15:1 (LB) For we know that when this tent we live in now is taken down – when we die and leave these bodies – we will have wonderful new bodies… made for us by God Himself…
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (NLT) For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.
2. MY RELATIONSHIPS – April 22
Matthew 5:8 (TNIV) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Psalm 16:11 (NLT) You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
Genesis 2:18 (NLT) Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone
3. MY ENVIRONMENT – April 29
Acts 3:21 (NLT) For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.
Isaiah 65:17 (NLT) Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.
Revelation 21:1 (NLT) Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared.

Revelation 13:5-6 (TNIV) The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies…It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven.
