Read Revelation 7:9-12
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Context of Passage
Seven seals - Lamb is only One worthy to open them
Seal - signet (possession), closed (delivered to the right person at right time)
Title deed to the universe and all of history belongs to the LORD. We belong to the LORD.
He will get His way, in His timing. His righteous judgments are carried out as the seals are opened. [hiatus]
CIT: The tribulation saints who have been saved and made pure through the Lamb are gathered before the Heavenly Throne.
Nature of His salvation (deliverance).

What’s happening?
God’s #1 desire being fulfilled: a multitude of people gathered to Himself, head over heals in love with Him
Every nation, tribe, people, & language. Every heritage and culture. Every people group. Every corner.
Blood-bought ones. Romans 10:9 people.
He was head over heels in love with the world first before anyone ever fell in love with Him. John 3:16.
His desire: hope of the Gospel to touch everywhere
Glorious
Joyfully exalting God as King.
Palm branches
Praise.
Elders (whoever they are) and billions of angels
Elders are always on their face! Brothers are never off their face!
Four living creatures leading in worship
Focus
The Object of their Worship is Glorious
Only One is worthy of worship. The Center. Gravity. Romans 11:36
Goodness
Good? Really?
Genesis: good, good, good, good
Not good. *record scratch* Man was alone.
Made for relationship. Made for community. Made for one another.
Sin separates. From Him, from others. Conflict, jealousy, strife. Genesis 4 was the first murder.
In this scene? Together. Unified. We are in the Light. We see one another. We are fully known and fully loved.
All nations & people groups? Getting along? Only through the salvation of our God who restores Goodness. Listen: could we get Zelenskyy and Putin in the same room together?

Gladness
Through the great tribulation. Hard times.
But here they are.
Safe with the Shepherd. Revelation 21:25 (never shut). The safest place to be is near Jesus.
“Mary, thank God. That’s the last one.”
Clean. Clothed in white. “Gosh, I just want to be clean.” He can. He will.
Joy. Singing loud praises. We’re Home. We’re His.
Salvation that is rich in relationship.
CONSIDER
Prop: Those saved and washed by the blood of the Lamb will be gathered together before God in worship and enjoyment of Him forevermore.
Christ’s reward for the Cross is His people being gathered to Him in worship and gladness.
Church is the vehicle
Missionary God

Live for the mission of God. Share life.

Hollowed-out, Puritan life. Nope.
Rich, abundant, grand, daring, adventurous, captivating, transcendent, eternal. Yes.
So simple: Love God, Love people. Affects our Moment, Mission, & Movement.

When you love someone, you are willing to give whatever it takes at whatever cost to give them the desire of their heart
