Genesis 1:27–28 KJV 1900
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
What was God’s original plan?
Why was mankind created ?
Where we going?
What are we here to do?
We were called be blessed- because God blessed (ba-rek) mankind male and female. Every person on this earth was called to empowered to prosper.
That’s why their something on the inside of you that says there is more to life than this....
We were given the five assignment in God original plan.
We discussed two of them already.. Knowing these God given assignment will give your life purpose and clarity.
Be fruitfulstay connected to the source and be productive.
John 15:7–8 KJV 1900
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Multiply- (ra-ba) to increase, bring in abundance, to expand, enlarge
1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV 1900
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
We learned last week that multiplication deals with faithfulness (well done my good and faithful servant) Matt 25:21
Matthew 25:21 KJV 1900
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Today we focus on the third assignment which is to replenish the earth.
The term replenish (my- la) to fill, consecrate as priest, devote, fulfill, to carry out, set mount.
God can mankind to Keep filling the earth with His resources.
Genesis 9:1 KJV 1900
1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
As people who are mage in the image of God (imago dei) therefore we have the authority replenish .
Man felled and loss His authority; there today we are to replenish the earth by being God ambassadors that spread His love.
We were called to steward (managers) that fill the earth.
What are we to fill the earth with God Spirit and His presence.
As believer can replenish the earth by replenishing our souls… We must continually fill ourselves with God’s Word and His Spirit.
Replenishment deals with management of our talent, time, treasures, resources.
How to be replenish and be restored
We must be thankful and full of gratitude for what the LORD has done for us!
Be a steward that give thanks often … Luke 17: 11-19
Luke 17:11–19 KJV 1900
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Do not take anything for granted--- one leperous was made whole- In every are because he did not take want God did for him for granted.
There is at times a lot to complain about but there is so much more to be thankful for.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV 1900
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
He did not act if someone owe he him something.
Sometime we can go through life and act like people owe us..
Our parents owe.. ( a stepdad that said boy no body owes you anything.
the government owe us..
A you owe me attitude drains us ...
A thankful attitude replenishes and restores.
The Leopard was good steward because he recognized Jesus as his High priest.
Hebrews 4:15 KJV 1900
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
We must have a revelation that Jesus is our LORD and High and we must honor .
The Leper felled down at his Jesus,
He was fully restored because gave his entire life to Jesus.
Romans 12:1–2 KJV 1900
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We are replensished we we show ourselve a people of value.
He showed himself as person
In our service to other
In our giving
In our decision making.
Let not rob God of an opportunity to replenish us so that we can replenish the earth.
Replenishment deals with management of our talent, time, treasures, resources.
