Overview:

[The Problem] Our battle is not against human forces, but against supernatural forces (12)

Put on the full armor of God (11, 13)

So that you will be strong in the Lord (11, 13)

So that you might be able to resist (13)

So that you might be found standing (10)

Verse 10

Be strong in the Lord

Be “empowered”

If you tell someone to go get strong, they might go to the gym to lift some weights.

But that’s not what this is talking about

This is the miracle of being strengthened with the power of another person

Crazy!

This is inner strength,

Not the strength to lift
