The Churches Pt.1

You will notice that all of this reference text is red. So special attention to the reader, Jesus is speaking. We are to remember this is Jesus the Lion of Judah, coming to test and evaluate these churches in Asia and render rebuke, correction, and directives as well as the reward for perseverance to correct their paths as well as correct what they were rebuked for. Keep the vision of Jesus Himself walking amongst the lampstands and holding the stars. Being this is the Revelation of Jesus. He is the Messiah and savior of mankind . Jesus is the Hope of the Church that bares His name. What a wonderful way to see our Jesus in full authority and in full charge as He directs, admonishes, and exhorts His church towards victory. In this Vision, as we have seen in Chapter 1, Jesus is walking in the midst of these churches. They are lampstands in the vision and are acquainted with the stars in Jesus’s right hand. The stars are empowered to accomplish all Jesus assigns them to do. Let us not forget they were exhorted to persevere , endure hardships and persecutions. The promise of rewards are for all who are victorious in these trials and testings. We all need to listen to what the Spirit is saying to the church. Just and true is our Messiah Jesus as his eyes burn with Holy Fire and His Words carry a power stronger than a double edged sword used in war. All he has to do is speak Holy wise words and it is done. All heaven and earth must obey as subjects in The Kingdom of God. Come Lord Jesus we are excited for your return to reveal yourself to the entire human race. We are yourServants. Those who reject Messiah Jesus and stay in rebellion will be the sad participants of these events of Justice and Judgement to the Wicked.

Revelation 2 (NKJV)
“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’ “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’ “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’ “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. “Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’
Angel of Ephesus
Acts 18:18–21 (NKJV)
So Paul still remained a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow. And he came to Ephesus, and left them there; but he himself entered the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, but took leave of them, saying, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. Conclusion
The sermon is He who has an ear, Let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches. It does not matter which of the first four churches are mentioned The Spirit is mentioned. Four of the four churches mentioned today, it is said “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”  So with this being repeated three times and three more times in the churches letters for next week, WE SHOULD LISTEN to WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING TO ALL SEVEN CHURCHES AND HEED TO WHAT HE SAYS. We should all listen intently, focusing on all the Spirit says to us. We then ask for Holy Spirit to join with us to formulate our response. We need to have ears to hear. We need hearts and minds in tune with Holy Spirit to walk out the Plan for our life in Jesus. May Father God YHWH grant our petition to have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to these churches as well as the Church, our local Assembly and us personally.
Let us keep our Holy Spirit oil in the lampstand full while listening to the Messenger sent to us who is connected to Jesus. This angel/messenger is anointed to speak the message that Jesus wants spoken through the Spirit. We would do well to listen, repent and do what the Spirit says to do. we do want to be on the Path Jesus has ordained and given us favor to walk when He comes to take us home by passing from this life to our eternal life. Or Jesus may just rapture the Church people who have their oil in their lamps and looking for that return of Jesus. I am good either way. thank you Jesus for this HOPE!
