God is after you

There has been a theme throughout the messages this summer. Could you feel it? Can anyone tell me what it was? We talked about a son who ran away, a coin that was lost, a sheep that ran away, and a banquet that needed people to attend.
God is always more concerned with the one. Now that one can change. With David, He was concerned about the one after His own heart. With Moses, God was concerned with the one that would deliver Israel from slavery. With Mary, God was concerned for the one who would trust Him. Jesus was concerned about the one with faith.
The question I want to ask you is, which one are you?
Are you the one that is lost? Did you once walk closely with God, but now you do your own thing? Maybe you never even considered God. You never knew you were truly lost. You are not here by accident. God loves you enough that He coordinated you being here so that you would find out that not only are you lost, but He has found you.
Are you the one that has been found? Are you the older brother? Are you the guest that made all the excuses? It’s time for you to start finding. Find the lost sheep, the lost coin. Look for the guests that need to come to the banquet. Take the responsibility of the older brother.
How will you respond to God tonight?
