Ezekiel 38: God's Defense of Israel - 7 Oracles, part 6; ID of Gog - Rabbis, Babylon

So against the Lord, that is Jehovah or Yahweh, they have taken counsel against Yahweh, and against his anointed. Now, That's interesting. What we have is Kings and rulers of Nations who are literally talking about the Lord and planning to do that, which will overthrow him to knowingly mindfully, come against him. This isn't a way of describing, how kings can be bad boys, and not be obedient to their disobedient. It's called coming against the Lord. They are coming against the Lord. They are targeting the thoughts. The thinking, the directives re-established Prophecy of the Lord, and what is going to be happening as they will be targeting Israel themselves, but I digress. Let's see what the text says. So the kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together. So we have are individuals who are taking Council which is building on applauding of anything from Bruce 1 and verse two. We have taken counsel that is their conferring one with the mother.

Remember 3 says let us break their Bonds in pieces and Cast Away their cords from us. What this is saying is that the things of God are the things in the Messiah or bonds and our cords restrain us. They tell us they keep us from doing what we want to do.

I know this can sound like several things that are going on here. One thing this may sound like is those people who are already in the millennial. In the Messianic Kingdom. And they're talking about how the rulership of the Messiah over them is keeping them from doing those things. So there are some people who started to take that and then they say, what one is talking about God in the Book of Revelation when in reference to the war of the nations against Christ against is real, big God will leave them and they're saying this as a reference to that will hold off judgment for a minute because I think the via text is going to answer that question for us and we'll get there. Okay. So know what we find. Is that this the first three verses are corresponding with something said in his equal. 38 vs 10. Okay. Ezekiel, 38, verse 10, from our Oracle. We read that says the Lord, God on that day. It shall come to pass. Fox will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan. Well gosh, that does sound a lot like what we just read in Psalm chapter 2 verses 1 through 3, in fact, we actually have the thoughts, describe the breaking bonds and pieces and casting away. Their cords from us is reviewing the inner thoughts in the thinking of these individuals Kings and others who are plotting a vain thing, who are taken counsel together against the Lord, and against his anointed. Who does that sound like that? Might be a match on that day. Shall come to pass that boat's will arise and your mind will. Yes, those are Bots and you will make an evil man.

So this making an evil plan.

He is not an existing reality, or maybe demonic entities, that are masquerading behind the concept, but the reality there is none who has power over life, except for God alone until we see that demonstrated in, that he takes the dead Youth and raises him back to life. Who doesn't want Sundar Elijah and he doesn't want sonder. Elijah. And I would say take it with a grain of salt, in a great deal of perspicacity, make sure you are clear in your understanding and the documentation And so forth, what we find invariably is that what we have is an augmentation, something that turned into something else along the way, if you've ever played the game of telephone with a bunch of other kids are teenagers, you know what I'm talking about that is you have a group of people and maybe the leader will say, okay, go ahead and read this. And I want you to repeat it to the person next to you and they repeat it in the repeated repeatedly whisper to the next person. Get all the way around the room told her back and then they say the last person, says whatever it is, you'll find. It's distorted and changed. So much that often has absolutely nothing to do with the original message at all. So we find that often times in our accounts. What's happening in on some of those missionary Situation's. God has never going to do in the missionary realm that, which detract from the person in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the authority of scripture. And the authority of God himself as being The Giver of Life. A lot of people want to say Well they're having a new Pentecost, new things are happening. Milk it. So 8. So that is a modern.

In Ralph's. We have a picture of the word for wrath means nose, face or nostrils. And so we get the word wrath because of flaring nostrils. If you were a kid and you ever looked up in your mom's, nostrils are flaring. That was an indication. Something was wrong. You may not be observant enough to notice such things but if you were in your saw it and then you saw it again, you knew the connection, you knew what was happening? What's an apt description for what's happening for someone who is in a place of Wrath? That means anger is moving forward and is not going to be contained. It is not going to be cut, it is being expressed and it will probably be expressed further, so he will speak to them and his wrath and Cress them in his deep disclosure, deep displeasure here. Is again a term or on which means anger or angry.

So what's a parallel concept now? Have you ever been distressed by someone else? Distressed. So we can take it back to the mom connection because it works so well, when Mom is Saying you need to do this or you need to do that and you ignore or you didn't hear whatever. But then you hear that voice that Boys, the movie had your name and your middle name included and you're like, oh, okay. And there is a distressed that might come over you because, you know, there is a displeasure or an anger or at least a level of addressing the situation. That means you'd better get serious and pay pension Well here we have God saying the same thing. He shall speak to them in his wrath meaning through his wrath. They will understand what he's saying. In through his displeasure, they will be the strep. They will be alerted. That something is going on and verse 6 thing says, yet I have set my key on my Holy Hill of Zion.

My king. He has made a reference to your my king on my Holy Hill in Zion. This is again a reference to the Messiah but those who don't want to make the connection. May not see it yet, but wait until we get to the next Brewers because then our song comes when I'm calling a double head, that means two things that are joining together equally strong. Then we see that the Lord turns the matter over to his son who shall inherit the nation's, 47, I will declare the decree. The Lord has said to me, you are my son. Today I have begotten thee.

That sound like anyone, you know? You heard of this guy unique guy, uniquely begotten. Is the term that John is like to use? I think that's a really good translation. Uniquely. The garden is the reference to the Lord. Jesus Christ, referring to himself that he is uniquely begotten. He is a unique individual. I'm certain, he is as he hypostatic Union, the joining of God and man, the very means of his coming into being with the ovum of Mary and the seed that was born of the holy spirit. So without copulation, there is a virgin born child that's coming from God is a manifestation of God is completely man and yet is completely God. So very unique and so we have this reference, you're my son. Today, I have begotten. You verse 8, ask of me and I will give you To who to this Christ, the son, the meshiaak, I will give you the nation's for your inheritance from the ends of the Earth for your possession. I know this means that all the nations on the earth will be included in the he was inheritance. This is what he will get in the ends of the Earth. That means there is no text and no place so far away. We used to think that, you know, some of the South Pacific Islands were pretty far away and they were the best ends of the you know of the known universe. In fact, down in Papua New Guinea. They have all these areas and all these different people groups with different languages through that. Damn sleeve, forested area that somehow I have kept these unique languages and, you know, keep to their own areas and geographies and some of them are mountain people and summer. But no matter where it is on the earth, this is an indication that is part of the possession of this individual is being spoken about verse 9 and you shall break them. With a rod of iron. To these nations, who are coming against God, coming against the Messiah and coming against Israel. You shall break them with a rod of iron that we learn here and saw them to that the Messiah rules with a rod of iron. And yet, he is known as the ruler of Peace, in an age of Peace. But the deliverance from those, who would be not peaceful. Comes because there is a rod of iron that is implemented. That means his leadership is a brutal one. And it's depicted by dashing to Pieces, not, oh, did you just break the vase? So, maybe we can glue it together or no one will see the handle came off. They got the Super Cool, Ultraviolet, glue. Now, you put it in there, get it, just right, and you run the little light around it and it's dick Simmons firm and I haven't found that stuff works as good as they say, but I tried it a few times. No, for those who have the have the thought prepend that, this may be a reference to the final battle in which God is referenced which we place at the end of the Millennium before the final battle and judgment in the final destruction and the remaking of Creations. Remember, we get to the end of the Millennium. The Lord releases the angels from the pit. They will join together with all those who are opposed to God, but if not raise their hand against God or is real, or God's rulership, and he will let them rise up and one final battle and then we'll put them down and they will all be cast into the Lake of Fire. We had the final Judgment at that point. Okay. And that reference to that Uprising is a reference to God and the other nations. So that is how to describe that his dog and the other nations are some people look here. And they say, hello, Good.

And after the final judgment, then we have the destruction of all creation to send impact is relieved of all creation. We have a brand-new Heavens on Earth that are sin, free that are not at all impacted by sin, which big some people to ask the question will, why then do we have the leaves on the tree of life for the healing of the Nations?

He will destroy the nation's opposed to him and then he will establish rule over all of the Earth in the Messianic rule in the Messianic Kingdom. But this same thing does not happen. After that, second war, at the end of the Millennium, there is no such a recreation of the nations in that way, there is no taking the benefits of having been at War and using them. In this case, the benefits of having been at war or impart, that war was so bad and the people who lived through it, who are believers who cross over into, Millennial Kingdom will refer to their children and their grandchildren and all others and talk to each other about how bad that war is and we will have the signs of a going on during the millennial Kingdom. We have smoke going up into the sky, from certain spot, certain cities and certain countries were they will be a continuing Memorial to the fact that Christ came in and conquered all of the other nations. And so, it will be Christ's ability to rule, not just because everyone is so much better because everyone will still have a SIM nature, just as bad as a send a truth. We have. Now the difference will be, there will be no demonic Cosmic system, that will be in play and we will have the administration of All Things by the royal family of cry. We will be rolling in raining with him over all these Gentile Nations and then David and some of the royalty will be ruling over future Israel and their resurrected body. So we will be reeling raining with Christ and there will be a point where he says okay, pullback thousand years is up and let's see what's going on. And there's going to be that expression. It's another unfolding of the dispensation. So we have the situation where we have man in a garden and a perfect environment and you at man, still sends and atonement is required to deliver man from that situation. And then we have man and a fallen environment and man, sends, and turns into a Devastation on the planet until finally Noah himself and his family alone or rescued and God takes us out of the first civilization to destroy the Earth recreates, it through the flood and brings us into the second civilization. One. We're in now, save to. And in this time we find, we have an environment where God Implement a rulership. And when he sets a covenant with Noah and he says, here's the deal. If any man takes a man's life than men must take that man's life. It's part of the contract. God is set in place, and he will put a rainbow in place to show that he will not be judging be a flood anymore, but man is now required to judge with judgement. Those people who crossed the line, so we are putting in play, then the need for governments and Judgment of other man, by man, at God's request. So apparently, then we got it from that. That was not in play during civilization one men did not ride rulership over other men, but in this civilization, we do and we will require them to the degree that we neglect capital punishment, as a rule to that degree. Our civilization is judged and destroyed and goes downhill in his cursed as opposed to being blessed. Because that is built into that. No way Covenant. So that is another way that we view things to, we have this time and then we have the time I promised the time of Israel, then we have the time. So that Old Testament. Dispensation and then we have prices actually in the Old Testament. Dispensation know, some like to say we have a unique dispensation, the time of Christ, as the Messiah, for the three years of his ministry, while his kingdom is, an ounce is Proclaim to be the Messiah. The Miracles are done, the Holy Spirit. Testifies, at this is indeed, he who has been prophesied and yet is real rejection. So we are at the end of that time, the closing of the nation of Israel, the Judgment of the nation which is part of what we're studying in our Sunday teaching to the book of Acts. Purpose of the speaking and gentle languages is to show that there is a judgment upon that nation and an 80 70 it ceases to be a nation is completely destroyed by Titus in the Roman Empire and at that time as well, tongues seeds because there is no longer a purpose for them. So we are required to judge a man who judges or who kills another is part of the, you know, a covenant that all mankind is under up at this time, even though we've gone through the age of Israel, the age. Learning of the things of God, even though we've gone through the church age still we have to know a covenant that is required across this time when we get to the Rapture pulls us out and then we have our time with Christ, some celebration, some military presentations will happen and then we're going to return all be dachshund fit and in our proper roles and signia Etc as a royal family of God will return with Christ and he will devastate the nation's and apparently we have something to do without at least we show up and white horses. Like he does as well. So we will be some part of the calvary, don't know if we will be drenched in blood like he is too but that's yet to be seen. But we will rule and reign with on the other side. So he will implement the rough formation of the planet unit.

There will be reversing of that so that men will no longer live to be a hundred and twenty again, live to be a thousand years old. So things will change. Some of the things were just starting to find out about the molecular biology and the public involved in what's happening in the cells and in the molecular processes in her body is much more physics type stuff going on than anyone ever. Expected. Also the direct rays of the earth, I mean of the sun. All that somehow is going to be integrated again. There are references to it someday. I'll pull out a really Mind blowing teaching on it. I thought once or twice on the the role of light, but haven't really gone in-depth into it. So, So, I suspect that. But anyway, so then we step into civilization, 3, civilization 3, rule runs for a thousand years and then at the end of that time we have that rebellion in the put down and then we move into the Eternal State. We might call that Civilization for whom a civilization. That will be the point at which we are going to live forever and ever with Christ in a particular way. May I watch some of my pastor friends and I were chatting it was last week about the leaves, which are for the healing of the Nations and a couple comments came out in the night. We met says, what are we going to need them for? Everyone's going to be sinless and perfect. So why would we need leave for healing? And I said, well, I don't know about you guys, but I plan on doing some base jumping and parkour and some Wicked mountain biking. And some, what are the cause skin suit diving where you jump off of mountains. You just have this, you know, basically, you're like a You have fins? Yeah and I plan on doing it quite a bit of that type of stuff so I think I'm going to rack up those leaves. I don't know. What are you guys going to be doing? Just sitting around knitting. What is my Response. We're not going to need healing. I don't know. I'm not sure. I have the same future planned as you guys do so. Anyways

So what we find then as a God, the father has assigned this inheritance that is associated with the nation's being destroyed and there is a conquest spoil, that is part of what is happening. So that really means, it can't be about the final battle. It has to be about the battle that precedes, the Messianic Kingdom everyone fall in. The anyone have any questions about that? That that Do I connect the dots?

Then we have the admonition for all Kings and all rulers to be wise to serve, with fear and rejoice with trembling, who have that in Psalm 2 verse 10. Now, therefore, be wise, Kings, be instructed, you judges of the Earth, verse love and serve the Lord with fear and rejoice, with trembling unique verse 12, he says, kiss the Sun Lest he be angry and you perish in the way when his wrath is kindled, but a little blessed are all those who put their trust in him. So we are some interesting things that are happening here. When we have an admonition admonition, that every King and every leader should be taking serious right now. The instructor there are consequences to your thoughts and your thinking and your personal response to God and your personal response to the son who has been gifted with this. Rulership over all these things, because you come against him, he's going to come in with a rod of iron and you will be shattered, like an irreparable claypot. It is destroyed. So be wise. The what is wisdom mean throughout the Old Testament, it's that same parallel concept. Will we have been repeating about hearing KIRO? Israel, the Lord thy God is one God not to love them with all thy heart, with all their mind, and all thy soul. And the rabbi is called at the great Shema, because it starts out with hear hear o Israel, but it doesn't mean here. And then walk away and do nothing means here and do by hearing their for doing. There's no disconnection between the hearing in the doing, it's the great Shema, the hearing that must be done. And so every Jew must do this,

Do we have the same type of thing going on with wisdom than wisdom is the person who hears who hears and therefore does, what does it mean? To be wise, means you hear the teaching of the Lord, you seek out the teaching of the Lord, and you are a hearer and a door of this teaching together, joined together, one thought, one concept wisdom is to here and Duke be wise. O'kane's be instructed, you judges on the earth because Kings and leaders are the old Haters. They get to adjudicate, everyone else, they are in a place of judgment over others, but everyone in that role here, needs to pay attention to this because verse 11, serve the Lord with fear and rejoice. Respect them a sense of all for the place of God, and your much, much much lesser role in the grand scheme of things, even as a ruler over nature, in order of all people and rejoice with trembling What's this whole Rejoice with trembling thing? Just talking to my mom earlier and we were talking about a few things that I was born, over the hill. In Yreka, my family had a when they call it a jerk Miller Factory there.
