Invisibility

God is invisible, yet knowable and experienceable.

John 1:18 NKJV

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 6:46 NKJV

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

1 John 4:12 NKJV

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

IN the Bible we see instances where God revealed himself to man .We call this theophanies. A theophany is an appearance of God.

B. Jacob Gen. 32:28-30

C. Israel (Pillars of Cloud and Fire) Ex. 13:21-22

D. Elders Ex. 24:9-11

E. Manoah and his wife Judges 13:21-22

F. Isaiah Is. 6.1

However, the greatest theophany is through Jesus

John 14:9 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Colossians 1:15 NKJV

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

We see God in Heaven.

We will see God himself.

Matthew 5:8 NKJV

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

However, we do not know exactly how we will see Him. But, we will see Him as He is.

1 John 3:2 NKJV

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

The world can see traces of an Invisible God in us.

God is invisible. Just as is our faith.

We know God is real because he has shown it to us through His works.

Like wise the world will see our faith through our actions.

Matthew 5:16 NKJV

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

James 2:26 NKJV

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
