Paul is now faced with another logical conundrum stemming from two statements that he has made. First was that where sin abounds grace abounds much more. Second was that the person in Christ is not under law, but under grace. Again, the logical question this creates once more is. should we then sin since we are under grace? To answer this question Paul shows how being made free of sin, we become the servants of rIghteousness.
