(which of course never ourselves )

its almost disturbing evil chilling in heaven

so only ok when terribly horrific

obsessed with earthly keep horrific evil to earthly

none deserve repeated in polite society, mere thought b/c quite earthly is obscene

deserving severe, not worthy of infinite (b/c limited)

if took 1000 lives, deserve 1000 lives of punishment

no, only infinite wrong everlasting punishment

whew! all safe?

unfortunately appearances, as normal,very deceiving when apply Truth

and Truth warn on Earth,

good parent warn children still in house about real world, so

God warns still in this life about hereafter

Second time 2 weeks that Christ refers to hell

wills all saved

more often speaks of heaven

go as far as torture to save us

no one has given more to end hell’s grip

But as St. Gregory says, clear to refer to punishment of hell

repeatedly clear terms

not just a definitive doctrine of the Church [CCC 1035]

but reveals our dignity

What hell is

most clearly: ccc 1035: separation from Happiness which only found in God

where worm never and fire never as Isaiah and Christ

this already hedonism

constant filling up of pain of worm desire, only to have the agonies of desire increase

one relief (distraction that their desire is pain) removed when timeless

debate of how other punishment in hell, but that one forever

Why is not unjust

not entitled to infinite goodness

human dignity

good parent is not going to kidnap and force adult child

will (mortal sin)

can make infinite choices

choice something wrong is to know it is not, therefore rejection of is

is means just that, infinite

scarily enough, this means all deliberate chosen rejections of Good are of infinite consequence

insane godly dignity, can choose/reject infinite

choices dignity of treating w/ God

that can justly end in hell speaks our incredible spiritual worth

Why justice is good

Ok its just, but … why not…why not cosmic teddy

if we really thought:

most twisted, obscene, evil will should get same due

sure, punished but not eternal!

I agree the temporal aspect of the sin is not of eternal weight, but, well thats already admitting justice, only reason not eternal is because we do not appreciate the full ugly weight of sin. It is infinitely (yes infinitely) worse than any evil we have imagined.

beauty increases so horror of rejecting

property in the scales.. theft

marital relations in the scales… adultery

life in the scales ....murder

but infinitely more is God, and so the rejection of goodness (deliberate evil) is of eternal depravity

Conclusion

God opposes hell

that why he warns, but will not steal dignity nor demean justice.

no one opposes hell more than God

none us crucifixion to save others from it

if we oppose hell, take as seriously like Jesus

have we done half as much save ourselves and others from it?
