I. When the Lost Book of the Law was Found:

A. King Josiah Rent His Clothes
2 Kings 22:10-11 “10 And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king. 11 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.”
B. King Josiah Commanded Hilkiah the Priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Shaphan the Shaphan the Scribe, and Asahiah a Servant of the King to Go Enquire of the Lord Concerning the Words of the Book of the Law
2 Kings 22:12-13 “12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying, 13 Go ye, inquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.”
C. They Went to Jersualem unto Harhas the Prophetess, and She Told Them to Tell the Man, King Josiah, Thus Saith the Lord That God Was Provoke for Worshiping Other gods
2 Kings 22:15-20 “15 And she said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me, 16 Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read: 17 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched. 18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the Lord, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard; 19 Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith the Lord. “20 Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again.”
D. The People of Judah and the King Josiah in One Accord, Made a Covenant to Keep God’s Testimonies and Statues with All Their Souls
2 Kings 23:3 “3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.”
II. On the Day of Pentecost, They Were in One Accord Before the Holy Spirit Was Poured Out
A. They Were Praying and Supplicating, Indigence Entreating God
Acts 1:13-14 “13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.”
B. They Were in One Accord When the Holy Spirit was Poured Out
Acts 2:1-4 “1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as in the Spirit gave them utterance.”
C. When the People Dwelling Jerusalem Heard Them, They Said That They Were Drunk
