We were made for Community.

Dream: For the last week and a half I have been having dreams and in these dreams I am at some sort of ministry event, the thing that was highlighted to me was that each night I something crucial was happening in my life.
When you dream something every single night for almost two weeks straight you don’t ignore it!
So I asked the Holy Spirit what is he trying to tell me with these dreams and He said you were made for community.
So I pressed in further and he said notice the different things that were happening in your dreams.
One night you were enjoying my presence
Another night you were exposing things
Another night you were fighting the demonic spirit
He said I am showing you communities that people are longing for, they are looking for a place to belong, a place that can offer his presence, a place that can offer hope, a place where a community will go to war with the enemy on your behalf.
So where am I going with this dream?!....
The Holy Spirit pressed on me to challenge all of us today and ask am I offering a community for the people that God has put into your life?
What kind of community is God asking me to create in my sphere of influence?
You see a lot of the time we rely so much on inviting someone to a Sunday service but if we look even at the walk of Jesus, he created a community with his 12 disciples and he did so much more than just a Sunday service, he did life with them! Also notice it wasn’t a clique it was anyone was welcome to join his community.
And maybe some of us are even triggered when we hear this because we were hurt by closed cliques where you are welcome one day and not welcome the next, or you said something that someone didn’t agree with and you were ousted,
I think we can all relate to that and if that was ever you I am sorry I know how that can hurt but guess what you are given a chance to do something different. You get to love and be a beacon of light for someone.
