Clothe your soul
Romans 13:14 (NKJV)
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
When I heard this scripture yesterday, my wife focused in on the second half, “Make no provision for the flesh”. Tonight we are going to focus on the first half.
Christ= Annointing
“Put on the Lord Jesus anointing”
Jesus lived without sin so He had to have something

“But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ”
What is the purpose of clothes?
provide safe guard against weather
help establish identities, social status, help modesty,
protection harm
Clothes say something about how you think.
What you put on is a nonverbal. You’re saying something without saying anything
What can you tell about someone by how they dress?
country, thug, smart, rich, poor, thirsty, insecure, LGBTQ, goth
“Just like what you wear naturally says something about you. What you wear spiritually says something about you”
Job 29:14 “I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My justice was like a robe and a turban.”
I thought it was interesting that the first thing that Adam and eve realized is they were naked
When Jesus died and was resurrected, he had to have a different clothes for heavenly body
1 Corinthians 15:53–55 (NKJV)
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
