I AM 1 (The Bread of Life)(John 6:28-59)
I AM 1 (The Bread of Life)(John 6:28-59)
When we preach Jesus Christ, oh! Then we are not putting out the plates, and the knives and the forks, for the feast, but we are handing out the bread itself.
Charles Spurgeon
When you come to a feast, no one really cares about the silverware, but when the bread comes out, you know you’re about to feast! Jesus is the one thing that everyone wants and needs!
Cracker Barrel brings out biscuits/cornbread. Red Lobster brings out biscuits. Olive Garden brings out breadsticks. Texas Roadhouse brings out rolls. Bread almost always comes first!
For someone to have life, they need Jesus first.

This wasn’t any man made bread.
This bread didn’t come from Bunny Bread, Marietta, or Walmart.
This didn’t come from the Monterey Bakery or Muddy Pond.
God gave you the bread!!! It’s not just any bread, it’s the bread of GOD!

Lost people want to live for ever, just not by receiving Jesus.
Some saved people love Jesus, but get tired of Him.
Numbers 21:4-5 “And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way. And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.”
The Sustenance of Bread (vs.35, 47-51,54-59)
