The Lord said to Moses, “Depart; go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give it.’ I will send an angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.”
We Cannot Go Without Him
God draws a line in the sand. If you want to live like this, then you will do it without me. you will do it without my Fire, my presence.
For most they would say, “you mean, I get the land, the glory, the money, without God threatening us. Sign me up!”
For the American church, it has said, we get to live church our way with the power, political influence,cool buildings, and we get to get out at noon. Sign me up. The standard in most churches in America, an hour service. Over an hour and you are considered old fashioned or undisciplined.
But my friends we have scheduled the Holy Spirit out of our lives. Out of our churches.
We pushed Him out, and substituted His presence with a strange FIre

The Issue we have is that while God said to the church, I have to leave the enemy was there saying, “I have Fire”
Burn my fire and you can leave God in the good book.
You can do what you want, when you want, and still have a fire.
Aaron's sons, were priests and they cam before God one day and burned what God called, “A strange Fire.” or an “unauthorized fire.”
Their reasoning for it really doesn’t matter, what matters is that they tried to substitute the unholy for the Holy.

Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them.
God didn’t like their Strange Fire and they were killed it.
My friends there is no substitute for the Fire and the presence of God.
WE cannot forget that!
Satan offers his substitutes, but we cannot take them. They are counterfeit, no matter how enticing they may be.

Moses Hears Gods offer to give them everything, but God stays behind. He immediately begins interceding.
Moses said to the Lord, “See, you say to me, ‘Bring up this people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.’ Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you in order to find favor in your sight. Consider too that this nation is your people.”
“These are Your people God! Your people! You cannot let us go!”
And he said to him, “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here.
We will not go without you!
All the treasure in the world will not entice us to leave You!
Moses makes this fiery declaration. I will not leave you!
But I ask, how many of us would have?
Sure we don’t come out and say it, I’m leaving God.
But ewe say, I will go build my house in Canaan, and return for the Lord when I’m ready. After all I don’t have everything together.
Obviously, we all think we would be Moses. But are moses in the day to day? Are you making those fully committed affirmative choices daily? Like Jesus?

Have you substituted the Fire of God for a false fire?
Maybe to mask the coldness of your heart you need to watch motivational sermons, listen to well crafted music. All of which can give you and I the illusion of a move of God without God.
Are you cold with your Bible reading?
Prayer Life?
Or does the Fire of God rage within you, yearning to run deeper in His presence.
Call the prayer team forward.
Come forward and the team will pray an anointing over your life. they will ask God to rekindle the fire within you.
