Mission:

We live to know Him and make Him known
Culture:
To Reign in life through the one Jesus Christ
Romans 5:17 NKJV
17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Core Values:
The Word:
2 Timothy 3:16–17 NKJV
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
The Bible is the living, breathing word of God. It is the foundation of every service, event, or class we offer.
It is the baseline of everything we do as a church body. The Word, not culture, sets the standard in our services.
The word is the heaviest weight in the scales of our lives
Above prophesies leadings and winds of doctrine
Presence-
Exodus 33:14–15 NKJV
14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.
We value the presence of God and the Holy Spirit above all else. Without His presence we are just playing church.
We carry the presence and spirit of God into everything we come in contact with
Any situation we encounter cannot stand against the presence of God and the name of Jesus
His presence is always with us and goes before us
This is not feel good goosebump type of thing it’s a promise of God that we stand by
He’ll never leave us nor forsake us
Excellence-
Colossians 3:23 NKJV
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
We owe God nothing less than our best.
From cleaning toilets to kids church- there’s no
task too small to not do it unto the Lord.
When you do things unto God the magnitude and importance of the task at hand is as high as it gets
Everything we do as a staff, volunteer
Generosity-
2 Corinthians 9:11–12 NKJV
11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
We are on a mission to create a reputation of extreme generosity in our community.
God freely gave to us so in turn we give to others. Our generosity is one of our biggest tools to share the goodness of God!
Don’t tip bad if you are going to pray or witness to your waiter
If your motto is silver and gold have I none then stay home and save money
Fun-
Ecclesiastes 8:15 NKJV
15 So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun.
“So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun”
Church should be fun! Through Christ we get to live the greatest life imaginable! Think
HUGE family party without the drama. And your uncle’s jokes are actually funny.
If this becomes too much stress or too much of a job to serve or help check your heart
You will go through seasons but serving God should bring Joy to your life
Standards of Leadership:
Daily-
We daily carve out time to meet with the Creator of the universe. We seek to know him intimately.
1 Kings 3:14 NKJV
14 So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”
Isaiah 26:9 NKJV
9 With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Servants-
We operate through servant-leadership. No one is above preforming a task. This church has been and will continue to be built by chair stackers.
John 13:1–2 NKJV
1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. 2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,
He was motivated by love
Jesus was able to wash the disciples feet cause he was confident in his leadership
Insecure people cling to titles, while true leaders wash feet
John 13:3 NKJV
3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,
He was confidence in his calling
We serve the call NOT THE GIFTINGS
How does it build the kingdom, how does it help others?
Problem Solvers-
We don’t bring up problems without a solution. Because that would be camouflaged complaining.
We are not complainers.
We are solution-minded people.
1 Corinthians 2:16 NKJV
16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Ephesians 1:17–19 NKJV
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
Micro management is the lowest form of leadership
If you have to be micromanaged there’s usually something wrong with your time management or motivation
Confrontation-
We have healthy confrontation. By first praying about it and bringing it to the individual it involves.
If that’s not enough, we go to the next level of leadership. We don’t talk about our issue with anyone it doesn’t involve-that’s called gossip.
Matthew 18:15–17 NKJV
15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
Delayed confrontation is multiplied confrontation
Bad attitudes cannot stick around
Tithe-
We believe in the tithe. We believe that the tithe is holy and a tangible way we can honor God.
We are good stewards of the tithe and our finances.
Matthew 23:23 NKJV
23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
We leave nothing undone
Tithing is not giving, it’s returning to him what he is his and what he’s asked for
Proverbs 3:9 NKJV
9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;
It brings honor to him
Teachable-
We are teachable! We are striving to always learn and grow into Christian maturity.
Pride has no foothold in our life because we know one can never “arrive” at perfection.
Hebrews 12:5–11 NKJV
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Discipline= discipleship
Discipline gives you intimacy
Sons and daughters are treated differently
Held to higher standards
John 15:1–8 NKJV
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Let’s be people that bear fruit
