Extemporize from message to communion
we love because He first loved us
He sets the example for us
as He gave His life up for us
a Humble Bondservant.
and as we have been encouraged to
care for one another
in this section
Its all because
He first cared for each one of us.
As it is the first Sunday of the month
we take communion
to remember Him
and what He had done for us.
in dieing on the cross for our sin
so this is a time for all believers
and so not everyone has to take of it
in fact in 1 Corinthians 11.
We are encouraged not to
eat of the bread
or drink from the cup
in an unworthy manner
that is taking communion
for reasons apart
of Jesus being your Savior.
Communion is a time to to examine oneself (1 Corinthians 11:27-29)
This is a time for us to remember Jesus
to proclaim His death
this is about what Jesus did for us
in dying for our sins.
and so as believers we remember
but if anyone has not accepted Jesus
may we remember or know
He paid for it all on the cross and in the resurrection
So that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish but have everlasting life
Thats why salvation is the grace of God
a gift
because Jesus paid for our sins
that we can be made right right God
through faith.
and so like other times
the band will lead us into a song
where we can come up and take the elements.
that are for believers
to remember Jesus
but hold onto the elements
as we will pray and take them together.
So I want to encourage that as we come up
and get the elements
that we
take a moment to ask God to search our heart.
we may need to use this time to get things
in your relationship with God worked out.
but especially in this time
remember His love and grace He has given to us.
remember what He did for us on the cross

The Bread

Matthew 26:26 NKJV
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
This bread symbolic of how Jesus
that he came in the flesh
and was without sin
yet
and for our sins His body
was broken, and pierced.
As we now receive it lets pray and give thanks.
“Heavenly father as we hold the bread we think of Jesus the Bread of life, who without sin, had His body was broken, beaten , pierced, and hung on the cross to pay the price for our sins. We thank you for sending Jesus to bear our sins on His body. We take this Bread to proclaim His death that gave us eternal life. In thanks we receive the bread in remembrance of Jesus! - In Jesus name

The Blood

Matthew 26:27–28 NKJV
27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
His blood was shed for the remission of our sins
Jesus the perfect Lamb of God
became our sacrifice
so we can enter into a new covenant of God
a covenant of grace.
Lets pray, “Heavenly Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus, that was shed to pay for the price our sins. While we so simply have trusted in Him we know Jesus suffered greatly for us, as He sacrificed Himself for us and His blood was shed. We hold this cup and receive it in thanks in Jesus name we pray - amen
Before we close the service in a final song
END IT ALL.
As we have spent this time today
remembering all that Jesus has done
in paying the price for our sins
that has brought us together
In our thanks to Jesus
Lets hold onto the lessons He has given to us
to also love and care for one another.
to look out for each others needs.
In His ability
“Heavenly father, I know you care so much for your church,
show us your heart towards your people, and what you want me to do”.
