1 Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord:
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.
9 And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
Introduction
Introduction
Wednesday night we spoke on “Anguish of Spirit”. Anguish meaning they were short of spirit or impatient with God because of the way things had worked out.
In Exodus 6, as we read, God responds to them by giving them seven promises, seven “I wills”.
I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians
I will rid you out of their bondage
I will redeem you
I will take you to me for a people
I will be to you a God
I will bring you in unto the land
I will give it you for an heritage
This was difficult for them. They could not hear for anguish of spirit.
Man is always praising God, religious man, for what He done, and always pointing people to what He’s going to do, and then ignoring what He’s doing! That’s just man, he’s made that way, he’s always been that way. 64-1221 — Why It Had To Be Shepherd
When Jesus came to the earth all of the promises of the old Testament were fulfilled in Him.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: In the volume of the book it is written of me,
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
He was the manifestation of all of the promises of the Old Testament. All of the types and shadows were made clear in Him.
In the New Testament there were many other promises made, but it was to be all revealed at the time of the end. How does God reveal it? By bringing it to pass.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
We live in the End Time. We have seen the fulfillment of these Scriptures
The time of the end is described in Revelation 10.
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
There is now no more delay, there is no more mystery, everything that God said He would do He has done.
As He manifested every Word of promise of the Old Testament, His Bride manifests every Word of promise of the New Testament.
It’s just the New Testament, that’s all. He fulfilled the Old Testament. Now it’s the New Testament, another piece to be fulfilled. See, the New and Old is husband and wife.
And it taken the Old to foreshow the New; Christ come, the Masterpiece, to fulfill that. Now His Bride will fulfill everything that’s in the New Testament. Another Masterpiece is in making. 64-0705 — The Masterpiece
How do I know that I am His Bride?
You are known when Jesus Christ lives in you, by His Life, and promised Word of this day reflects Itself.
Now the same Word that was reflected in Moses could not be reflected in Elijah, because that was another day. Same one that was reflected in Noah could not be in Moses, ’cause, see, Noah built an ark, Moses led a people, just exactly what was promised.
The same light was reflected in one, wasn’t in the other, but one told of the other one.
All the New Testament speaks of this hour. Jesus Christ speaks of this hour. Who is it, then, some man? It’s Jesus Christ, the Son of God, manifesting, reflecting the Light on the Word that He promised for this day.
When man see you living like Him, when he sees your character and your conduct with the Word just exactly like He was, the Word being manifested, then man will see Jesus Christ.
They won’t have to look around anywhere else, say, “What does this creed teach, what does that creed teach?” They’ll know what God is when they see you. 64-0119 — Shalom
You manifest the fulness of the Book.
So, the Message of the Seven Seals, in their closing, that’s the Message of the entire Bible. The Seven Seals closes the New Testament and sealed it up. That is true. 63-1110E — He That Is In You
The mysteries was in the Seven Seals. When these Seven Seals was opened, that opened up the entire Bible. The Seven Seals; It was sealed with Seven Mysteries, and in these Seven Seals held the entire mystery of It. And it was the Book of Redemption, New Testament.
Not the Old. It only proclaimed for the New Testament. “They have been made…cannot be made perfect without us,” Hebrews 11. 63-1110M — Souls That Are In Prison Now
We are now subject to every promise of the Word.
God’s only provided plan for His age, His sons in the Word age quickened by the Spirit like a spark that’s lit off of something to make it alive; and seated now in Heavenly places (in present tense), already alive and subject to every promise in the Word.
Then what does that do? You being a part of God’s gene, a part of the Word, other men a part of God’s Word, seated together, manifest the entire Body of Christ, because there’s no leaven among you.
No leaven among you, just the Word only, seated in Heavenly places, in the door where He put His Name: Christ Jesus. 65-1128M — God's Only Provided Place Of Worship
Question: If I I am subject to all of God’s Promises for Today, why then am I struggling for my healing? Why is it difficult to go to church? Why do I struggle with besetting sin? Why are my children disobedient? Why do I have trouble in my home?
The Children of Israel might have thought the same thing.
The gap between what they were hearing and what they were seeing caused them to be disillusioned with the Prophet and the Message.
To be disillusioned means to be “disappointed in someone or something that one discovers to be less good than one had believed”.
Another dictionary states: “having lost faith or trust in something formerly regarded as good or valuable”.
In other words “The Message isn’t what I thought it was” “Going to church hasn’t helped me like I thought it would” “Living as a Christian is much harder than I thought it would be”.
Why wasn’t Jehovah disillusioned when Adam fell? He was grieved, but He already knew they were human. He made them that. He made them weak, on purpose. His attributes could not be fulfilled in them unless they were flesh.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: Neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, So great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, So the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.
The reason the Jews could not see God’s promise being fulfilled in Christ is they could not see past the dust.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
They could not see it, because He came as Son of Man.
And we find out here that God has always had skin on Him. When Moses seen Him, He had skin on Him, look like a Man.
When God was behind the curtains, He had skin on Him. And God, tonight, in His Church, is veiled in His Church with skin on It. He is still the same God, tonight. We find that.
But now, as ever, the skin veil is what catches the traditions. They just can’t believe that that is God making them people act like that.
It’s because God is veiled in His Church, in skin, skin on It. That’s right. He is hid from the unbeliever, and revealed to the believer. Yes, sir.
Now, when their tradition veil, of traditions of the elders and the Word, is broke through, oh, of course, today, then comes in plain view, we see Him, Deity again veiled in human flesh. Hebrews 1 said so.
And also Genesis 18. You remember, God was a Man, stand there, eating, and talking with Abraham, and told what Sarah was doing in the tent behind It.
And Jesus said, “As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be at the Coming of the Son of man.” Deity veiled again in human flesh! Now, remember, Jesus didn’t say, “When the Son of God is being revealed.”
...He said, “And when the Son of man is being revealed.” The Son of man, back in the Church again, revealed in human beings;
not Son of God, but the Son of man again, back in His Church again, in the last days. We find that He promised that in God’s promises. 64-0629 — The Mighty God Unveiled Before Us
God’s promise for today is not for the Son of Man to be manifested by William Branham. That has already taken place.
We believe that we’re living in the hour that when God is doing something. We believe that we’re living among them now. I believe tonight I’m preaching to that congregation that—that’s laying, waiting out there just to get ripe. I really believe that, with all my heart. I would say it’s the same now as it’s always been.
Now, we believe that the hour has come that Saint John 14:12 must be fulfilled. We, we believe that Malachi 4 must be fulfilled. We believe that Luke 17:30 must be fulfilled.
We believe that, all these prophecies that He said would come to pass in this day. We believe they must be fulfilled, and we believe we’re seeing them fulfilled right now. That’s exactly right. 65-0217 — A Man Running From The Presence Of The Lord
God’s promise for Today is a Bride to fulfill all the promises of God.
There is to be a spiritual Bride raise up, which will be the Royal Seed of the royal Faith of Abraham’s Royal Son. She is to come on the scene in the last days, and the time and the place is a promise that’s given to Her. 65-0219 — This Day This Scripture Is Fulfilled
The devil doesn’t believe you are her.
Many times the way the devil gets us disillusioned is by pointing to human weakness. He doesn’t attack the Word directly, but he attacks the Word made flesh.
If he can get us disillusioned enough with the Body, the church, he can get us to disbelieve the Word itself.
He even tries to get us disillusioned with our own flesh.
He knew the Word was for that hour, but he doubted this humble little Man being that Word. 65-0725M — The Anointed Ones At The End Time
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
If you were really the Bride of Jesus Christ, why do you struggle financially the way you do? Why did you lose your job? Why did you lose your car?
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
He never said it would be easy.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
If you are the Word made flesh, why do you have to struggle against sin? Why doesn’t He just keep you from any mistakes?
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
He tries to tell you “Bro. Branham did it all anyway, what’s the point of you doing anything”?
He knows that if the people get the TRUE REVELATION of the TRUE CHURCH and what she is, what she stands for and that SHE CAN DO THE GREATER WORKS, she will be an invincible army. CAB-01 — 1 - The Revelation Of Jesus Christ
She will have to fight, but she cannot be overcome! No man can stand before her.
Even the promise of the rapture is already manifested in the Bride. The Shout is the Message, you become the Message.
And here You are, tonight after nineteen hundred years, You are just as much alive tonight as You was when You talked to the woman at the well. It’s God manifested in flesh, now in the flesh of His Bride, for the Bride and the Husband is the same-self flesh.
“These two are one.” And the Church is becoming the Bride, all the time, by believing the Word, so that the Word and the Church becomes the same. The Word in the Church, making it the Bride. The last sign, God identifying Himself, the Word in the Church. 64-0409 — The Identification Of Christ In All Ages
The rapture begins in your flesh.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
God’s promises for Today.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
And that’s the way a Christian is. We are planted together in Christ Jesus, Who is the inexhaustible Fountain of Life. We’re planted in Christ, and we just drink, and drink, and drink, and push out; and everything we have need of for the earthly journey:
Divine healing, the power of God, and all these other things is in every individual in here that’s received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, for you’re planted in Christ. Hallelujah.
The Holy Ghost baptism, yes, sir, and everything you have need of for this life’s journey, even the rapture is right in you then.
Don’t resent that? That’s the truth. The rapture is in us now. I will prove it by the Gospel. “Those who He called He justified, and those who He justified, He hath glorified.” Hallelujah. Then in heaven today we’re a glorified in the Presence of God right now. I’m just pushing out to it. 53-0907A — Lord, Show Us The Father And It Sufficeth Us
Conclusion.
Conclusion.
Don’t be disillusioned by your own weakness, or the perceived weakness of others. Look at God’s promises for today.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
If the New Testament promises were written in weakness, couldn’t they be manifested the same way? In our weakness, He is strong.
