DEMON POSSESS

INTRODUCTION:

MARK CHAPTER FIVE SHOWS US THE EFFECTS THAT DEMONS CAN HAVE ON A PERSON’S LIFE

THE ONE THING THAT DEMONS LIKE TO HAVE IS CONTROL

DEMONS OPERATE AT IT’S BEST IS WHEN PEOPLE LIVES ARE FILLED WITH SIN.

DEMONS LIKES TO ATTACH ITSELF TO ANYTHING THAT IS UNCLEAN.

WHEN A PERSON IS CONTROLLED BY A DEMON, HE IS CONTROLLED BY HIS WAYS AND HIS PERSONALITY.

TODAY I LIKE TO EXPLORE THE STRAITS OF A DEMON.

DEMONS ARE DESTRUCTIVE.

DEMONS KNOW WHO JESUS IS.

DEMONS ARE MANY

DEMONS STAY IN ONE PLACE.

A. DEMONS ARE DESTRUCTIVE.

MARK 5 : 3-5 “who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.”

THE WORD DESTRUCTIVE MEANS TO BE ABLE TO CAUSE GREAT DAMAGE, HARM, OR INJURY TO SELF OR SOMEONE ELSE.

DEMONS SHOWS UNCONTROLLABLE BEHAVIOR. MARK SAYS NO MAN COULD BIND HIM.

NOTICE MARK DID NOT SAY JESUS COULD NOT , BUT MAN COULD NOT.

WHEN DEMONS TAKE HOLD OF YOU HE KEEPS YOU AROUND THE DEAD. BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE WHO DO NOT LIVE FOR CHRIST IS DEAD ALREADY.

DEMONS ARE OUT TO DESTROY YOUR CHARACTER AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

THOSE WHO DEMONS HAVE CONTROL OF, DO NOT LIKE TO BE IN THE COMPANY OF GOD, BECAUSE THEY HATE THE LIGHT.

DEMONS DON’T OPERATE ON THERE OWN, THEY RECEIVE THERE ORDERS FROM SATAN.

DEMONS LIKE TO BE LOOSED NOT RESTRAIN, BECAUSE THEY DO THEY BEST WORK WHEN THEY ON THE PROWL.

DEMONS ARE PATIENT THEY WAIT FOR YOU TO LET YOUR GUARDS DOWN , THEN COME IN FOR THE ATTACK.

DEMONS LIKES TO INFLUENCE PEOPLE TO HARM THEMSELVES , OR GIVE UP ON LIFE.

MARK SAID AND ALWAYS, NIGHT AND DAY, HE WAS IN THE MOUNTAINS, AND IN THE TOMBS CRYING, AND CUTTING HIMSELF WITH STONES.

ROMANS 7:11 “For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.”

B. DEMONS KNOW WHO JESUS IS.

MARK 5:7 “and cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.”

DEMONS ARE LOUD AND LIKE TO BE HEARD. THEY LIKE THE ATTENTION TO BE ON THEMSELVES.

DEMONS DO NOT LIKE JESUS TO GET INTO THERE BUSINESS.

BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN COMMON.

WHAT FELLOWSHIP DOES LIGHT HAVE WITH DARKNESS.

DEMONS KNOW JESUS AND ARE AWARE OF THERE DESTINY.

DEMONS PRAY , BUT WON’T SURRENDER TO GOD.

SOME OF US THE SAME WAY, WE CAN PRAY, BUT WILL NOT OBEY GOD’S WORD.

JAMES SAYS THEREFORE TO HIM THAT KNOWETH TO DO GOOD, AND DOETH IT NOT, TO HIM IT IS SIN.

EVEN DEMONS KNOWS THE MERCY OF GOD

THE DEMON PLEAD WITH GOD NOT TO TORMENT THEM.

MARK 1:24 “saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.”

C. DEMONS ARE MANY

MARK 5:9 “And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.”

LEGION ARE A BODY OF SATAN SOLDIERS.

DEMONS LIKE TO INTIMIDATE THOSE HE HAVE CONTROL OF.

DEMONS USE FEAR AS A TACTIC FOR YOU TO DOUBT GOD.

THAT’S WHY WE HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WHO WE LET IN OUR LIVES, IT CAN APPEAR TO BE NICE BUT IN REALITY WE HAVE ENTERTAIN A DEMON.

DEMONS WILL ATTACH ITSELF TO YOU ONLY TO INVITE MORE OF HIS FRIENDS.

EPHESIANS 6:12-18 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

4. DEMONS STAY IN ONE PLACE.

MARK 5:13 “And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand,) and were choked in the sea.”

WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT DEMONS ARE STILL UNDER GOD’S CONTROL AND STILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO HIM.

DEMONS ARE NOT OMNIPRESENCE, THEY OPERATE IN ONE PLACE UNTIL THEY DESTROY IT.

MAN CAN’T TAME OR BIND DEMONS, BUT A MAN WHO’S LIFE IS CLEAN AND KNOW HOW TO USE THE NAME JESUS NOT ONLY CAN BIND ON EARTH ,WILL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN, AND WHATEVER HE LOOSE ON EARTH WILL BE LOOSED IN HEAVEN

MARK 1:26-27 “And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.”
