Trusting in Jesus: The Power of Faith Amidst Unanswered Prayers

Today, I want to share with you a message close to my heart, a message about trusting in Jesus even when our prayers seem unanswered. 1. **God's Ways are Higher:**

First and foremost, we must grasp that God's ways are higher than our ways

8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

and your ways are not my ways.”

This is the Lord’s declaration.

9 “For as heaven is higher than earth,

so my ways are higher than your ways,

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

(Isaiah 55:8-9).

We may not always comprehend why certain events unfold in our lives or why our prayers don't seem to be answered right away, but God sees the bigger picture. His perspective surpasses ours, and He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Trusting in Jesus means accepting that He knows what's best for us, even if it doesn't align with our desires in the moment.

2. **The Example of Jesus:**

When we struggle with unanswered prayers, remember that even Jesus experienced this during His time on earth. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed for the cup of suffering to pass from Him (Matthew 26:39).
