4 John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
5 People went out to him from all of Jerusalem and the countryside of Judea. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
22 After this, Jesus and His disciples went into the Judean countryside, where He spent some time with them and baptized.
23 Now John was also baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because the water was plentiful there, and people kept coming to be baptized.
24 (For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
1 When Jesus realized that the Pharisees were aware He was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John
2 (although it was not Jesus who baptized, but His disciples),
3 He left Judea and returned to Galilee.
37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
41 Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.
36 As they traveled along the road and came to some water, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being baptized?”
38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength. And he spent several days with the disciples in Damascus.
17 So Ananias went to the house, and when he arrived, he placed his hands on Saul. “Brother Saul,” he said, “the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
18 At that instant, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and his sight was restored. He got up and was baptized,
45 All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.
46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God. Then Peter said,
47 “Can anyone withhold the water to baptize these people? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have!”
48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.
27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
What then is the meaning of baptism?
What then is the meaning of baptism?
3 Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
12 And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
21 And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
