Introduction
I welcome everyone here to this special occasion in the lives of maddie and hunter. We are here to worship Jesus Christ through the institution called the wedding ceremony between maddie and hunter. I now ask this very important question, Who gives this bride in marriage?
Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God and these witnesses, to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony. The Bible teaches that marriage was created by God. He made an helpmate for Adam and called her woman, for she was taken from the man. In the Old Testament, Moses, the lawgiver, gave divine sanction to marriage as a legal institution. In the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews says that marriage is honorable among all. Therefore, because God has put His blessing upon this union, and this is a service of worship celebrating the work of God, let us pause to ask for God’s blessing and presence in this service.

Vows
So, hunter , if you and maddie have freely and deliberately chosen each other as partners in this holy estate, and you know of no just cause why you should not be so united, in token thereof, will you please join your right hands? hunter , in taking maddie , whom you hold by the right hand, to be your lawful and wedded wife, you must promise before the Lord and the witnesses present that you will love her, honor her, and cherish her in that relationship, and leaving all others, you’ll cleave only unto her. You must lead her in all things at all times in all ways, a true and faithful husband as long as you both shall live. Do you make that promise to the Lord and to maddie ?
Response: I do.
hunter , I’d like for you to look at your bride now and repeat this vow after me to her: I, hunter, take thee maddie , to be my lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part.
Now, maddie , you will look at hunter and repeat after me to him: I, maddie, take thee hunter, to be my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part.
Giving the Rings
Do you hunter, give this ring to maddie as a token of your love for her? I do.Will you, maddie wear this ring as evidence of your love for hunter
Do you maddie give this ring to hunter as a token of your love for him? I do. Will you hunter wear this ring as evidence of your love for maddie ? I will
Conclusion
Now, having pledged your faith in each other and love for each other, and having sealed that pledge through the exchange of these rings, and by your solemn vows to each other before God, acting in the authority vested in me as a minister of the gospel, looking to God for His divine approval upon your life,I now pronounce you husband and wife. “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Mark 10:9).
