I. Let's God honor with our physical development.

• B. Our body is our tool for serving God. (I Tim. 4:8).
• C. Our body is a temple for God's Spirit. (I Cor. 6:19-20).

II. Let's honor God with our mental development. (Lk. 2:40, 47, 52).

• A. We should gain knowledge. (Col. 1:9-10).
• B. We should especially gain wisdom. (Prov. 1:1ff; 2:1ff; 3:1ff; 4:1ff; 8:1ff; Eph. 5:15-16; James 3:13).

III. Let's honor God with our social development. (Prov. 3:3-4).

• A. Broad & healthy relationships.
• B. Good reputation. (I Tim. 3:2; 3:7; 4:12; Titus 1:6-7).
• C. Loving outreach.

IV. Let's honor God with our spiritual development. (Lk. 4:16; I Tim. 4:8, 15-16).

• A. Spiritual development is crucial in this life. (II Pet. 1:5-11).
• B. Spiritual development is essential for the next life. (I Tim. 4:8; Mark 8:36-37; I Thess. 5:23-24).

Is Jesus pleased with my whole person?

If not, I need to repent.
