40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Title: Apostolic Order: What are you fighting?
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
This word order is one of the most important words in the Word of God.
The first thing we see of God and His nature is order.
Literally Genesis 1:2
Genesis 1:2 (KJV 1900)
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was’ upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The world was disorganized and empty...
God’s first move was to put the world in order and fill it!
Fill it WITH HIS IMAGE!
The most important thing we can do in our lives is find God’s creative order for our lives, families by, church and communities and live in it!
We were put on this earth to maintain God’s order!
We are created in God’s image and given dominion over everything.
Dominion is the ability to rule, have power over, to maintain, keep in order.
The first spiritual conflict that is recorded is about order!
Before time began, Lucifer challenged God’s order in Isaiah 14:12-17
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

It is what Jesus was talking about in Luke 10.18
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
When Lucifer got out of order, God kicked him out of heaven at the speed of light!
God’s order, plan, authority WILL STAND!
Any attack against his order is spiritual warfare.
An attack against me, my family, my church is an attempt to keep me, my family and my church from living in the order, plan, authority of God!
This is why the scripture says:
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
What is submission? The act of coming into order!
We don’t like submission.
Against our nature as Americans!
Don’t tread on me!
Snake ready to strike
Boston Tea party…
We don’t like submission
BUT WHAT IS SUBMISSION REALLY?
Coming into order!
This is why when you are IN God’s order, you can resist the devil and he will run from you!
We are in a battle not just for our souls, but for our family, our church and North Platte!
Ephesians 6:10–13 (KJV 1900)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
This deals with spiritual jurisdictions.
Just like we have local jurisdiction, county, state and federal jurisdictions…
Spiritually local, relational, national, world wide jurisdiction…
You are engaged in a spiritual battle as an individual, family, church, The Church or Kingdom
One of the things said: look what has happened in the 5 years…
WHY?
The intensity of the battle is indicative of the prize!
The greater the battle, the more important the victory!
Some of you feel like you have been under an unprovoked attack.
Your family, your marriage , your finances, your church…
Your wondering what in the world have I done wrong?
It’s not that you have done something wrong, it’s that you are involved in a greater battle than you realized!
You are not fighting for your own soul!
You are not fighting for your own family!
You are not fighting for your own church!
You are fighting because North Platte is key to God’s plan and it has to be brought into order!!
Look at Paul in 1 Cor. 16 - he is wrapping his first letter up with his travel itinerary…
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Then jumps to take care of Timotheus, Apollos is coming asap…
Pall said there is a great door that is open… guarded with many enemies - but is not concerned at all!
Why? Because he knows that the enemy only congregates around important places!
And where the enemy is, God is greater!
I see a great door open here!
A great effectual door!
Effectual = expression of capability, active, power
So what are you fighting?
20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
What is your place? In God hands, order, plan
