I. Christ is Mediator of a Better Covenant

A. I Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,”
Hebrews 7:22 “by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.” Hebrews 8:6 “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” Hebrews 12:24 “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”

II. Christ Has Made this Covenant possible through his Death

The Sinless Life of Jesus is not the focal point of the New Covevnat but rather His death on the cross. Romans3 :25 “whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,” I Peter 3:18 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,”

III. Christ Has Sealed this Better Covenat With His own Blood

Matthew 26:28 “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
