24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
2nd Scripture
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.

The Right Attitude and Approach
Bro. Branham taught all through his ministry that the right mental attitude towards the promise of God and the Gifts of God would bring results.
And the right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass. If you can look at it the way God wrote it, and accept it in your heart, God will make that Word become life. 58-0214 - "Jesus Christ The Same Yesterday, Today, And Forever"
Bro. Branham used the story of the woman with a issue of blood and the story of Martha at Lazarus grave to illustrate that. These women had the right mental attitude towards the promise of God, and the right approach to the gift of God.
They had the right mental attitude towards the manifested promise of the hour.
What attitude should we take to these Scriptures which are for our day?
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
What attitude should we take?
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
What were the greater works?
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Then one time He said about the Third Pull, how it would come by this one way, then by knowing the heart, and then the spoken Word.
(quotes John 14:12)
When we hear the Symphony beating, changing, fixing to change, it’s a junction time. We notice as He begin to beat, and we seen, “The works that I do, shall you do also, and greater shall you do.” “Greater,” He promised it. We wondered how it could be.
(Water into wine, feeding five thousand)
But in the woods, there was nothing there to make a squirrel. “Let there be,” and there was, without anything to break it from. What is it? The same Jesus Christ!
“Greater things than this will you do, for I go to My Father.” Not take something that’s been created, break something from it and multiply a creation, but absolutely create.
Showing that He’s the same Jehovah that stood back there and said, “Let there be,” and there was. His Word was made manifest! When He was made flesh on earth, He took His original creation, broke it back and multiplied it.
But now in the last days, when He comes down among us again, the same Light that moved down, said, “Let there be light,” see, He just speak the creation into existence. “Greater than this will you do, for I go to My Father.” Remember, we’re at these times. 64-0112 - "Shalom"
When the Bride realizes that SHE can do the greater works, she will be an invincible army.
What attitude do we have towards this promise?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
(Jehovah Jireh providing a lamb)
(Hattie Wright story. Bro. Bill Curtis met her)
This was not just for William Branham
Now, every one of you, not only ministers, but, all of you ought to pray for these people. You don’t know what God might do for you while you pray for somebody else.
What if you’d say the right thing? What if…Here is a woman standing here, that’s so sick they have to hold her up. What if your prayer would be the right thing, just like Banks said the right thing, like Hattie said the right thing?
What if you would say the right thing, your prayer, to cause God to come down and do something? See, this is just not one person. This is the Church of the living God, everybody. 59-1115 - "My New Ministry"
What about this one?
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Bro. Branham ties this to the Rapture.
Jesus said, “Say to this mountain…” And you’ve heard about what’s been taken place; that’s the ministry that we’re entering into. We’re way up the road now. Soon the Coming of the Lord Jesus.
And we’ve got to have rapturing faith in a Church that can be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye to go out, or we’ll not go. But don’t worry, it’ll be there. It’ll be there. 59-1219 - "Questions And Answers On The Holy Ghost"
There will be a Bride.
What attitude did the Woman with the blood disease, Martha, and Hattie Wright have?
An attitude of humble expectation.
Humility
Humility
They did not approach the Word with an attitude of entitlement.
The Spanish people: you’re humble, you’re willing to eat or just take the crumbs, whatever you…You come in that attitude, and that’s the reason you get healed. That’s the reason you’re healed, because you come humble.
Anyone who comes stiff-necked will never receive nothing from God. You’ve got to see how low that you can get, and then Christ will heal you (That’s right.), or He will save you. 48-0304 - "The Angel Of God"
I just keep, I’m trying to dodge a issue here, I’m going to say it. My last meeting at Tucson, Arizona, three or four nights ago, I seen the white people come in there, starchy, Pentecostal, starchy as they could be;
I seen some poor ol’ Mexicans comes in there, they was there that morning when I spoke at the morning service, they set right in that church all day long, from nine o’clock that morning until, well, it was eight o’clock, about seven o’clock, I guess, or eight, when they come in, and they set and stayed right around in that church until that evening.
And when it come time, when the Holy Spirit dropped in among the building, who got healed? The Spanish, the Mexicans.
The Holy Spirit going right out through the audience and raising up the sick and afflicted, and everything like that, bringing around, Spanish, humble. Come expecting it, nothing of the world, just looking to Christ. 61-0207 - "Expectation"
(Germans and Swiss)
And I noticed the Swiss. The Swiss never had no trouble, they’re like Americans, fine, fed, my, just as cocky, if you’ll express-…, uh, excuse the expression. “We are So-and-so. We are the Zwinglites. We’re Lutheran, we don’t have to listen to that stuff.”
And them poor ol’ Germans all beat down. We counted a hundred and eighty bus loads, them big glass-top bus loads, come in to where there’s about fifty thousand gathered together there in the big arena.
(Less than 10 years after WW2)
What happened? When the Holy Spirit begin to fall, everyone out there was the Germans that He called. Left them setting right where they was setting, still in their sickness, still in their sin, set right there, and healed the Germans that come with expectations, and arms out.
They’d been beat down to a place, them Christians up there under Hitler and them, had been beat to a place till they had to look to God for mercy. Oh, God knows how to do things.
Friends, watch, don’t let it be you. You come with expectations, be ready. Lay aside every little weight that so easily beset you, and come humble in heart, expecting God to keep His Word, He will do it. 61-0207 - "Expectation"
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
But when Martha met Him, look at her attitude. She went up there, looked like she had a right to upbraid Him. But she didn’t. If she would the story would never been told. She fell down at His feet.
She said, “Lord (That’s what He was.), if Thou would’ve been here, my brother would not’ve died. But I know now, yet he’s dead four days, the skin worms is done crawling in, the nose has fell in, so forth.
If You’d have been here, my brother would not have died, but even now, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You.” That’s the way to come (See?), humble. 54-1205 - "We Would See Jesus"
We see the same attitude and approach with the Gentile woman.
She didn’t say, “You have to come down at my house and lay Your hands on my child.” She didn’t say, “If You will come down and speak in another language out yonder, and tell me all about it, I’ll believe it.”
She said, “I only want the crumbs, just the off-falls, all I’m looking for.” See, she had the right approach, she had the right approach to God’s gift.
She was the first Gentile that Jesus ever done a miracle on, first Gentile. Faith always admits the Word is right, and faith always acts humble. 62-0608 - "Perseverance"
Expectation
Expectation
The woman with the blood issue was expecting. If she could touch the hem of His garment, it was over. When she touched the hem of His garment, her expectations were fulfilled.
If you come tonight expecting to be healed, you’re going to be healed. If you come tonight expecting to find something to criticize the meeting, you’ll certainly find it. You get what you come for. 50-0405 - "Expectation"
The woman that touched the hem of His garment was expecting God to keep His Word. Martha was expecting God to keep His Word when He said, “I am the Resurrection and Life.” 55-0807E - "Leading Of The Spirit Of God"
How can we come humbly, in the condition we are as human beings, and still expect great thing from God?
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
We are not worthy, but He is.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
We failed, but He stood the test.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Boldly is “with confidence”
Come with humble expectation to one who has been through the same temptations we have been through.
Our heavenly Father, we bow in humble worship to express to You the very adorations of our heart. Oh, how we are elated tonight, Lord, to feel Your blessings moving in our mortal beings.
Expecting in a few moments to see the vital, the real Presence of Jesus Christ moving among the people, giving them faith, and seeing great signs and wonders take place. 55-1118 - "The Faith Of Abraham"
We come humbly, expecting great things.
(Lainey asking for two dollars)
Then a woman one time, pressed through the crowd and touched His garment, and felt within herself that she was healed, and went out, and set in the crowd.
Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” Peter rebuked Him, but He said, “I perceive that virtue, strength, has gone from Me.” He looked around over the audience until He found the little woman, told her she had a blood issue and her faith had saved her. Is that right?
Well now, if He’s the same High Priest, wouldn’t He do the same thing tonight if He’d be touched? Now, how would He do it? He’s the Vine now; we are the branches. Is that right?
Well then, He’d act through the branch. If it’s a correct branch out of the Vine, it’d act the same way the Life was in the Vine. Is that right? Now, you pray; you believe.
I pray; I believe. And upon the stand that I have taken for God around the world; and this ministry of discernment is now leaving, and I’m stepping into a higher ministry of speaking the Word.
And you see what God has done? He’s put it right back into the lap of the people. Let them come with the right approach and watch what happens, but they’ve got to have the right approach.
See, no one can heal; He’s the Healer. But I cannot say it until He speaks to me, see? But you can speak now with your faith and get your healing if you’ll believe. 60-0716 - "From That Time"
Conclusion.
Conclusion.
The Centurion
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
