Introduction:

Man has been given the power of choice with its privileges and responsibilities
Adam and Eve were created by God as free moral agent - Gen. 2:16
When We read in the book of Joshua 24:15 it talks about the choice we have to make

1. The Choice Is Inescapable

We must make a choice
We cannot remain neutral
We must choose only one - Matthew 6:24

Every person determines his own destiny by choice
Our choice of destinies is narrow - only two gates, roads, Destinies

2. The Choice Is Individual

Joshua 24:15 (ESV)
And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

The choice is independent of....
Family
Friends
Popular choice

3. The Choice Is Immediate

Joshua 24:15 (LEB)
But if it is bad in your eyes to serve Yahweh, choose for yourselves today whom you want to serve, whether it is the gods that your ancestors served beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my household, we will serve Yahweh.”
Some choices are not immediate and Urgent
