Sometimes it seems like all we can see is the struggle.

I was haunted by ghosts that lived in my past, bound up and in shackles of all my failures, wondering how long this would last. Jesus looked at this prisoner and told me, “ Son, stop fighting a fight. It’s already been won. Stop fighting,” he says, and know that I am God supreme among the nations supreme over the world’’(Psalms 46:10).
We are redeemed Jesus set us free.
(Rom 5:1 amp) therefore, since we have been justified that is acquitted of sin and declared blameless before God by faith, let us grasp the fact that we have peace with God and the joy of reconciliation with him through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the anointed one.
So let us shake off these chains, wipe away every stain of sin and remember we are redeemed. We are not who we used to be because the old man no longer lives inside me. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, that is grafted in joining to him by faith in him as Savior, he is a new creature, reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit the old things, the previous moral and spiritual conditions, have passed away, behold new things, have come, because spiritual awakening, brings a new life.(2 Cor 5:17 amp)
Remember, we do not have the old man living inside us because his day is long dead. After all, we have a new name and life and are not the same. We have hope that will carry us home. (He who overcomes the world through believing that Jesus is the son of God, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. He will certainly never be put out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, the name of my God’s city, the new Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from my God, and my own new name. (Rev 3:12)amp
Conclusion: take away statement: if the son makes you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)
