The Queen of Paradise
The institution of the Feast.
After the World War II, Pope Pius XII institute the feast of Mary as Queen of Heaven and heart:
We are convinced that this feast will help to preserve, strengthen and prolong that peace among nations which daily is almost destroyed by recurring crises. Is she not a rainbow in the clouds reaching towards God, the pledge of a covenant of peace
Earnestly desiring that the Queen and Mother of Christendom may hear these Our prayers, and by her peace make happy a world shaken by hate, and may, after this exile show unto us all Jesus, Who will be our eternal peace and joy.
Where does the Bible teach that Mary is Queen
The typology reading of the bible
We have to rescue the Bible for the experts, we sometimes believe that the doctors that have a big degree can read the bible, but our Mother Church teach since the beginning the way that Jesus use to explain the bible:
The Church, as early as apostolic times, and then constantly in her Tradition, has illuminated the unity of the divine plan in the two Testaments through typology, which discerns in God's works of the Old Covenant prefigurations of what he accomplished in the fullness of time in the person of his incarnate Son.
129 Christians therefore read the Old Testament in the light of Christ crucified and risen. Such typological reading discloses the inexhaustible content of the Old Testament; but it must not make us forget that the Old Testament retains its own intrinsic value as Revelation reaffirmed by our Lord himself.105 Besides, the New Testament has to be read in the light of the Old. Early Christian catechesis made constant use of the Old Testament. As an old saying put it, the New Testament lies hidden in the Old and the Old Testament is unveiled in the New.
With this typology we can see how the things that apear obscure in the Old Testament became clear at the light in the New.
So we know that the kingdom of David is a prefiguration of the kingdom of Christ in the heavenly Jerusalem.
The Mother Queen on the Davidic Kingdom
1 Kings 2:19 (NABRE)
Then Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, and the king stood up to meet her and paid her homage. Then he sat down upon his throne, and a throne was provided for the king’s mother, who sat at his right.
So Mary is the new Queen mother, the strong lady that is seated a besides his King son, hearing our petitions.
Luke 1:31–34 (NABRE)
Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” But Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?”

So, Mary is Queen, because his Son is King,
Christ is King because is the son of the Living God, but also because he conquer, he pay the ransom for us, he rescue with his blood.
Mary is Queen because he is the Mother of Christ the King, but also because with her sufferings help to our salvation, offering his only son and accepting this sacrifice for our redemption.
Queen of Mercy.
Queen of Mercy.
Mary is QUEEN; But let us not forget, to our common consolation, that she is a queen of all sweetness and mercy and inclined to do good to those in need. That is why the Holy Church wants us to greet her and call her in this prayer Queen of mercy.
St. Bernard Asks: Why does the Church call Mary Queen of Mercy? And he answers: "Because she opens the profound paths of God's mercy to whom he wants, when he wants and how he wants, because there is no sinner, however enormous his sins, who is lost if Mary protects him."
She is our refuge and she will grant all the graces that we need for our conversion.
She is our refuge and she will grant all the graces that we need for our conversion.
We need those graces, and we must every day that the Queenship of Mary be real in our life.
We need those graces, and we must every day that the Queenship of Mary be real in our life.
There, every faithful slave of Jesus in Mary must invoke her, salute her, talk about her, honor her, glorify her, entrust himself to her, rejoice and suffer with her, work pray and rest with her. In brief, one must seek to live always trough Jesus and Mary, with Jesus and Mary in Jesus and Mary. IVE Constitutions 88
