James 1:21 (NIV84)
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and HUMBLY accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Gentleness (prautes) marks a person who is submissive to God’s Word.

James 1:19–21 M:BCL
Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God’s righteousness doesn’t grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life.

Gentleness means being considerate of others when discipline is needed.

Galatians 6:1–2 NIV84
Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
2 Timothy 2:24–25 NIV84
And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

Gentleness should be something that is not what we do but how we are perceived

Ephesians 4:1–3 NIV84
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

We are to be clothed with all the fruits and GENTLENESS is one

Colossians 3:12–13 NIV84
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
GENTLENESS means Our hearts must be ready to set Christ up as our pure focus even if it means being falsely accused without justification
1 Peter 3:15–17 NIV84
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
Can you be the GENTLE GIANT OF LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS
Can you imitate the greatest gentle giant of all, JESUS?
