Introduction

A winter's day walk. My children walking at the State Park, helping one another.

Walk Humbly

Our world exalts those who boast in their own greatness.
Humility comes from knowing who you are in Christ and being grateful for His goodness.
Humility comes from looking at Christ.
Philippians 2:2-12
He humbled himself to come to earth in human flesh.
See the Son of God dependent upon his own creation.
See him submitted to his earthly parents.
See the hands that formed man bowing to clean man's filth.
See the Author of life stretch out his arms to be killed by those he made.
Humility produces gentleness (meekness), and patience.
"Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish yourself to be." - Thomas A Kempis

Walk in Unity

Unity comes from common purpose.
Unity must be based on the truth.
One body - the church
One Spirit - the Holy Spirit
One Hope - eternal life through Christ
One Lord - Jesus Christ
One Faith - The doctrine of faith that you have been delivered.
One Baptism
One God and Father of all.
