Emma and Kyle Wedding - Giving of the Bride

Welcome friends and family, we are here today to celebrate the union of Emma Nichols and Kyle Smith in holy matrimony.

We get to be part of a beautiful transition of love, commitment, and unity.

As we stand here, I am reminded of the words of Genesis, 2:24 "Therefore a man shall eave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall become one flesh."

Emma, Today, you are leaving the loving embrace of your family, the ones who ave nurtured and supported you in your life. and in doing so, you will become a new family with Kyle, where you will now find your love, commitment and unity with him. You will “become one flesh with Kyle”

In this moment, as Emma’s parents are about to give her away, I am reminded of the beauty of love, commitment and unity we have within the body of Christ.

Today we have two different bodies of believers represented- Kyles church family and Emmas church family, but the truth is we are all one church.

Today, Emma, you are also leaving the loving embrace of Clear Lake Baptist. You have grown up in our Church family., We have been part of your spiritual growth since you were a baby to a mature follower of Jesus.

Emma it has been our joy to see you mature into the godly the women you have become.

Emma, we are excited to send you out to continue to grow and Serve the church together with Kyle and Faith Baptist Church.

Kyle and Emma, May your marriage be a testament to the power of love, faith, and the unity we all share together in Christ.

And Friends from Faith Baptist and Clear Lake Baptist, Let us all continue to support, love, and pray for this couple as they embark on this sacred journey together.

They need the church and the church needs them.
