Can God? God Can! (Psalms 78:1-20)

Pondering of God (vs.19-20)

Every time we think “Can God do this?”, we’re actually speaking against God.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
We’ve gotten to a point where people ask the questions:
Can God save my family?
Can God send revival?
Can God build and grow our church?
Can God meet our needs?
Mark 9:14-29 Can God? God Can!
Mark 1:40-42 It’s not a matter of “Can God”, it’s a matter of “will God?”

Provisions of God (vs.12-16)

Salvation (vs.13)

God will provide himself a lamb!

Steering (vs.14)

They had no idea where to go, but God continually led them day and night!
Exodus 13:21 “And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:”

Sustenance (vs.15-16, 21-28)

15 (HE clave the rocks. HE gave them drink.)
16 (HE brought the streams out of the rock. HE cause the waters to run down like rivers.)
23 (HE commanded the clouds from above and opened the doors of heaven)
24 (HE commanded that they rain down manna upon them to eat. HE gave them the corn of heaven)
25 (HE sent them meat to the full)
26 (HE caused an east wind to blow in the heaven. By HIS power HE brought in the south wind.)
27 (HE rained flesh upon them as dust.)
28 (HE let it fall in the midst of their camp)
29 (SO THEY DID EAT AND WERE WELL FILLED)
vs. 32
Even though God provided them with so much, they still didn’t believe God.
If we can’t believe that God has given us what we already have, how can we believe that God will give us things in the future?

Promises of God (Matthew 6:24-34)

Take no thought whether God will provide or not, HE CAN AND HE WILL!!!!
Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
