We live in a day in which self-confidence and pride are promoted over and against biblical morality and obedience to our God. We are told to be strong, bold, and courageous, and we’re counseled to do so by compromising our convictions on the alter of cultural relevance, political correctness, and social convenience. But what if strength, courage, and success were not evaluated by human praise and approval but by fidelity to the infallible albeit ancient revelation from God: the Bible?
