This week we wrapped up our summer series on the Sermon on the Mount. As we come to the conclusion of Jesus' great sermon, we hear him speak to us about what it means to live a wise life. He tells us that true wisdom comes from hearing his words and putting them into practice. That's easier said than done, and it's easy for us to fall into two opposite errors as we seek to carry that out. But that's just one more reason to cling firmly to Jesus and his Word and to build our lives on him.
