Stay In His Love Part 3

The Israelites did not have a revelation of God’s love because they thought he was trying to kill them in the desert

1 John 2:4 NKJV

4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Judas is an example of not getting revelation of His love

Sin is a symptom of darkness, a lack of light

1 John 2:9 (NKJV)

9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

“in the Light” is referring to the revelation of our love command

“He who says he has revelation of God’s love”

This is how Jesus was able to say The devil, the darkness, sin, has no place in me. because I have a revelation of His love for me, therefore I obey

Light in The Word is many times made in connection with God’s word

- Jesus was the word made flesh, manifestation of love and light.

darkness cannot be light, because it can not be truthful, demoic angels cant tell the truth
