The Workers

Pray that those already a part of the church will stir up their gifts, step forward & offer themselves in service in the House of God
2 Timothy 1:6–7 NKJV
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Timothy was admonished by Paul to stir up the gift of God in him.
Paul knew the gift was there and pinpointed the moment the gift was given to Timothy.
Paul confronts the fears that keep us from working the harvest.
Paul serves as the mentor for Timothy instructing him on how to overcome his fears.
The Word Worker means someone engaged in work.
Timothy was engaged in the work… he was there he was present
Someone who is part of and understands the work to be done.
Paul uses the word worker to describe those who ministered with him.
Timothy was intimidated and felt like he was too young and people didn’t respect him because of his youth.
It isn’t enough to know what your gift is. There is instructions in the Kingdom of God for how when and where and even the manner in which is should be used.
Ephesians 1:18–23 AMP
By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].
The Process… We love events but we hate processes
1- Have your inner man flooded with God!
2- Get knowledge and Understanding of the Hope and riches God has given us.
3-Stay connected To His body.. the Church.. It is the fullness of Him.
4-Recognize where you came from and recognize God’s love for us.
5- His love for us caused us to be seated with Him Jesus in heavenly places
6-We are saved by grace and not works.
7-We are God’s handiwork! prepared to to do good works.
8-You are Grafted into the Vine… part of the church in the context of unity in the body is where our gifts are used and expressed. For the benefit and edification of the body.
