1 Peter 4:1-2 “Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God.”

Freedom from defeat - No Obligation

You have not the Spirit (5-8)

You have the Spirit (9-11)

The Spirit has you (12-17)

Freedom from discouragement - No frustration

Creation groans (18-22)

We believers groan (23-25)

The Holy Spirit groans (25-30)

Freedom from fear - No separation

God is for us (31)

Christ died for us (32)

God has justified us (33)

Christ intercedes for us (34)
