State:
We spoke about how important knowing our identy in Christ is.
The book of Ephesians tells us what our identity is:
4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. 5 God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. 7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. 8 He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
Chosen us before the world was made
He sees us Holy and without fault
He decided to adopt us and make us part of his family
He has given us kindness, grace and freedom (from sin’s affect)
He has showered us with wisdom and understanding.
We spoke about how important developing intimacy with God is.
Intimacy Statement: Soul Care
If we are going to expand our authority, we are going to have to spend some significant block times alone with God that go beyond simply our routine devotional life.
Fasting
Embrace Testing
Accepting major changes
Trusting when answers to prayers are delayed
Experiencing senseless loss and still trusting
Enduring prolonged pain
State:
The final element is faith.
Spiritual authority is rooted in identity, expanded in intimacy, activated by faith....
State:
All that you learn about your identity as a dearly beloved child of God, and how you have discovered the face-person-character-authority of God through intimacy with him prepares you to use your authority through faith.
Faith activates authority.
Faith is an action
We can have belief without deeds, but we cannot have faith without deeds when our faith is in Jesus Christ, because the evidence of our faith in Him is in doing what Jesus does.

Peter out of the boat
28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” 29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. 31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”
Peter took the step out of the boat
13 Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. 14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” 15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” 17 So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him.
Esther had to take a step into the King’s court

What step, action, word or change is God asking us to make that will release his authority in our life and other’s lives?
