John 4:1-43 The woman at the Well.

Story of the woman at the well. She was getting water when Jesus approached.

Jesus told her he would give her living water.

John 4:10 “Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.””

The woman realizes something is different about Jesus.

Jesus then calls out her sin. The woman was in adultery John 4:17 “The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’;”

Jesus says she has 5 husbands, she thinks he is a prophet.

After Jesus teaches her that the Messiah will be worshipped in more than just Jerusalem, she says she knows about the coming Messiah.

Jesus says in John 4:26 “Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.””

I am Him- Athletes.

No, Jesus is Him

Jesus is Lord. In my life i looked at those other things for satisfaction

I desired the things of this world, it would never satisfy me or bring me true joy.

Jesus ultimately teaches he will be the one who will satisfy you and bring you joy.

burial and resurrection. The offer is now.

Repent and follow

Put your faith and trust in Jesus. Repent of your sin. Follow Him as Lord of your life. and you will be saved.

Romans 10:9 “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Do not have to work all about by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

Come broken, Jesus will heal.
