In the gospel of Matthew and we are concentrating more, in the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. Obviously, they're connected with some events there and we are going to we're going to talk about them. But we are Matthew chapter 8 verses 5 through 13 today and I want to talk about King Jesus. Last week. We talked about King Jesus and his compassion today we going to we going to talk about King Jesus at, but we got to talk about our faith. we going to talk about faith, our faith today, and I want you to pay attention because

We we are going to learn a couple of things or be reminded a couple of things that are very important for our spiritual walk. Every single day, I was reminded of this thing's I had to, I was convicted in these things. I have to change my heart, and my mind, and some of this area's, because I receive God's message of before I break it to you more than loser, one says, one said. God, our father has made all things depend on faith, so that whoever has faith will have everything and whoever does not have faith, will have nothing. Now that those were thin mint mean too much to me until God got a hold of me with his scripture. We have just seen Jesus.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit, many times, we don't know what to ask but he will take our are groaning and moaning said he was going to his got to take him and translate him so that he brings to the throne of God whatever player need you have you might not know it but he does and that's the kind of got that we have a problem with us is that we don't believe in prayer. The age of that. Why sit with many Believers inside? We take prayer for granted that we limit Our God, because we limit our prayer time with him. And that is something that I am bound, and I am really committed to eliminating my life and, and, and so should you, we should be a walking prayer. Machine everywhere we go to every time and every place that we are, we are to be talkin to our god. That's what prayer is to talk with him and presented him. All the needs. A, we have, but the reality is that there's so many people have given up on prayer, and there's a lot more people. I haven't given up on God because they simply believe that there since are too many. And God will not forgive them because they sit, they think that they're there since are so terrible. That no God will forgive them that they think that their illnesses and their issues in life. I so so bad that he can't heal or he cannot mend. And you are limiting the kind of God that I know we are just making our God very small when reality he is so big that he's everywhere at the same time solving everybody say shoes at the same time listening to everybody sprayer at the same time. He's in every every every aspect of our lives at the same time. It's not like he's taking care of my issues and putting yours for a 30 minutes later. He's dealing with all at the same time. That's how big our God is today.

Jesus and mmm. Well, actually today, we mean a century and cheese isn't enough being a centurion, very special centaurium, centaurian that we need to really meet, we got to learn a lot from this guy. I say to you that many will come from east and west and recliner the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven. But the sons of the Kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness in that place. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said, to the centaurian go, it shall be done for you as you have believed. Again, listen to that. Go in shall be done for you, as you have believed, and the servant was healed that very moment. Let me give you a little background in a Roman legion. There were six thousand men. And they were divided in 60 groups, they're called since entry each containing 100 men and in command of each Century, there was one man. That was called, listen to him. So this man was a man that, that, that led a group of 100 soldiers in the Roman army. There were, they were the backbone of the Roman army. Somebody said that, they that they cemented, that they were the cement, which held the Army together. That's how important they were for the Roman army. They were the best of the best enrollment Armed Forces. Perfect Nails. But this Centurion Centurion was different. He was different see in the in the Roman Empire and slaves did not matter. They had no value. They did not matter. It wasn't important if they suffered. It was important, even if they died, they were not, they know, they matter at all. They were living tools. That could be replaced for price. It's like if you have a drill in your house and it stopped working, you don't the most of us will not try to fix it. You just dump it and go to Ace or go somewhere else and get another one, right? Well, that's what it was slave was for the Roman Empire. There was nothing. They had no legal right whatsoever. Their master was free to treat them as they wish as they pleased. The only difference between a slave and an animal or it between a slave and a thing of wagon, or a house or whatever was that they could speak. That's all I was the only difference between a slave or anything else. It is clear that this Centurion was not like that. I don't know him, but I, when I get to him and I hope to meet him, he must have been an extraordinary individual. He cared for his slave.

He cared for his slave and although he was not a follower of Christ in this aspect of his life, he was a man with a hard like Jesus, his heart. He was a man that had the same heart that Jesus had. In which more Jesus to help and heal his slave. There was a problem. There was a problem. He was a gentile and Jesus was a Jew. We don't see that much of a problem. Problem today, but there is some problem. I mean, it's hard for us to enter in certain circles as Christians to be able to reflect the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, isn't it? We're not welcome in some places, but in some places they simply will not accept it and that's it. We don't see it much in the United States and you personally and please do not see it that much, because we're always around each other here. We're always around each other. But I I remember dealing with with a local house of worship without was the chairman of the mica initiative in Margate and basically being told that no, we are not going to participate in the National Day of Prayer and who doesn't want to play. I mean, I don't care what religion do, our prayer is always in there. They will not pray with us because most of us or all of us actually prayed in the name of Jesus. Oh, that's in the 21st century. Margate okay. So just imagine in the world out there. I mean there's some places in the world word. If you mentioned the name of Jesus says you cannot have a job, you cannot have a house, you cannot buy anything you basically live out of the mercy of those people that do not believe that way. And your persecuted every single day. Guys. This centaurium was a special person. He wanted his slave to be healed and to be helped. But unfortunately, because he was a gentile and Jesus was a Jew. There was a wall there that they allowed from the minds of those who are in for the Jewish background, would not allow Jesus to go into that home and healing and you want to know what the great thing is owned. By the way, if any jet if you want into any any Gentiles home you were considered. I'll clean that. We spoke about that last week. That's how bad it was. Would you see this old? There was a special Soldier. There Centurion was a special Center and he knew this limitations And as a soldier, if he, well knew what it was to give a command to have that command instantly on on Quest and unquestionably carried out. That is an outstanding statement. That is announced. That means I'm not sure when I put myself in the place of the Centauri and I'm not sure that I would have responded that way. I had seen God, Jesus, do some Miracles or they have said, I don't know if the Centurion have seen it, but there were stories that Jesus had healed people, but they catch them, or they approached them, or they were in the, in the same neighborhood. But, but, but I also know that for this dude, coming to my house would really, really, really be detrimental to him and he would really put them in and out with this religious leaders and his countrymen So what should I do? Well, this man basically said, I know it would be too much for me to expect you to come to my house, but I know that if you say the word hear my slave will be healed there. About his faith. That is faith. I believe that this law all meant nothing to Jesus, but somehow he used it to test us and three in faith and the Centurion delivered. He was a man of great faith.

and this is at the two things that I see here that we need to pay attention to Jesus marveled of his faith. Jesus was Marvel of the centurions faith. Not when Jesus her, this he might in the Bible says he marveled at and said to those who were following. Truly, I say to you, I have not found such great. Faith with anyone in Israel. This is a gentile, a man that is a man of war, is not a man of peace, is a man o war and he is one that has slaves. And he basically said Jesus said that he had not seen anybody in God's people that have the faith of that Gentile.

And God has told us so much about faith. That we need to remember. We need to be reminded all the time. We let you know, when you see something that doesn't make sense, believe me, God is at work. Because our life is a life of faith. You know that the Bible says that faith is his sherance of things, hoped for the conviction of Things Not Seen. Do you want any simpler explanation? It's right. Their faith is the Assurance of things, hoped for the conviction of Things Not Seen. There is a. Movie. And I forgot the title. You see what happened? When you get older? What do you remember that movie about the, the, the football coach at Christian movie? The football coach. When one, when he's losing his about, to lose his job and everything is upside down. His, there's a rat in the house is driving him crazy. His car is really breaking up all the folder for the pointy thing is not winning games, is really, really, really? And there is a man of God. But do you remember what he told the coach, when the coach approached them and just and just hold them and ask them? What are you doing? I see you every single day. You come over here and you pray over every single locker and he tells him the story about rain. I need said, what?

that he was preparing for raining day that he needed to prepare for, right for when the rain comes down, In other words, he was telling me you have to have faith. You got to start building your faith and understanding. Now, you prepare for what's going to happen then? and that's what he did and the team started winning games, and if they won the championship, as a matter of fact,

Guys. There's so many things in our lives that we don't take when we have not been able to enjoy because we don't believe that God is able to get us there. We don't believe in a God that will take us there. We're not sure. of God taking us there and we just give up Don't give up. if you really have faith, it's just acting on it. Fantasy Assurance of things that you hope for it's a conviction of things that are not happening now. But will happen later. If you're right with God, if your life is straight with God, if your obedient to God. If you're faithful to what he tells you, you exercise faith and I guarantee you that God is going to look at it and he is going to glorify himself through your life. If there's anything in your life that you're afraid to take on exercise faith. If you think that is of god, don't let go, she ate. Don't debate, don't wait.

Pay this insurance of things, hoped for the conviction of things, not send. Not only that, but in Hebrews 11:1 in the, in the message paraphrase, I love what it says. Hebrews 11:6. It says that without faith. It is impossible to please God. So you think that you're placing God in every area of your life, but then, in this area, you are not, then you got problems without faith. It is impossible to please him. For he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. Yes, you believe in God, but didn't you believe that you will receive that? Which he has planted in your heart to do and you need to step out my fate, you need to step out my faith. You can't, please tell him you must believe that he is God and that he is going to reward you with that with your stepping out in faith.

I already know in a book there there. Something that really, it's part of those, they're talking about the Centurion, spoke the voice of faith. And Jesus laid it down. That faith is the only passport to the blessedness of God. Babe is the only passport. The blessedness of God. And everywhere I go to, I show my passport. Cuz I am. I'm a citizen of Heaven. God's Kingdom. Well guys, fave.

He said, I'm going to send my son. He's going to pay what I require for a, for everyone in humanity to to be, totally accepted in my presence. He paid for the cross of Calvary, you didn't pay anything. He paid it all and all you have to do is simply to say, you don't want. I'm a sinner. I need it, I need forgiveness, I'm lost. I need a savior. And I see at the cross of Calvary, the only one that can get me there. He's the only one that can provide me about passport to be able to live internally with my God, my creator. Would you keep on neglecting it? You keep on forgetting it? Nice. The solution is very simple. It's all about faith.

And Christian walk to become a Christian and to walk. As a question, it's all about faith. If you continue to neglect, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you will not be at this. Banquet, let me say it again, if you continue to neglect. The gospel. The good news of Jesus Christ saving you through his sacrifice. You will not be at this. He has not just restoring your relationship with God becoming the, the passport, to Eternal living with him. But he has also prepared a significant life for you to live and if your heart is still beating, you still have some of that life to live. Well, you still alive there things that God has prepared beforehand for you to enjoy and to live out in your days. Here on Earth. I'm all is yours by faith. by believing that he is by believing that he will reward you as you follow his word and his way stop believing.

That your ways are better. Because they're not. Stop believing that you can negotiate believe are not what the Bible says. What he's worth says, because you're making a terrible mistake. You want to live that Abundant Life that got offered you that he gave you actually in Christ Jesus. And you have to let him lead your life. Think about it. Oh, and by the way,

Let's pray. I don't know if you know, Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, but I do, I've done it since I've known him since I was 15 years of age and he has never failed me. He's been always faithful. I haven't but he has And he wants to be your lord and savior. Maybe he's not because every time you hear this message that Jesus loves you, he cares for you, unfortunately. Send. It's it's separating you from him and from his father and all you need to do is accept the fact that you are a sinner that need forgiveness from God asking for that forgiveness and invite Jesus Christ into your life, as your lord and savior simple. The Bible says, and my Bible says it every single day, today is the day of salvation. Today is the day you need to get on that horse. And Trust Jesus Christ, as your lord and savior. In the second I'm going to pray for that but you can do that. But for you, my brothers and sisters are those who are followers of Christ.

But also that's the foundation on which we walk every single day. Help us father to trust you above ourselves. Help us to trust you and not others. Help you help us father to understand that every aspect of our lives are important to you and you want to be part of all that you have given us that significant life, father, help us to understand that we are to live it out.
