Acts 2:1-4:

Use your Bible’s cross references to find the Day of Pentecost in the Old Testament, and list as much info about it as you can below, including the O.T. verse reference(s) from where you found it:
2. Who are the “they” mentioned in Acts 2:1? (Hint - Read the last section of verses from chapter 1)
3. In verse 4, we find the word “tongues.” What is the meaning of this word in this context? (Hint - See verses 6, 8, & 11). List several verses that mentioned the word “tongues” in the Bible:

4. Use a commentary on Biblehub.com to explain the meaning of Acts 2:15:

5. Find the Scripture in Joel that Peter mentions in Acts 2:16ff:
6. Verse 17: Type in “the last days verses” into Google and list several verses that come up. Can you figure out the meaning of the term “last days?” Are the last days here yet?
7. Verse 21: Use cross references and/or a Google search to find “call on the name of the Lord” or “calling on the name of the Lord” in three more verses. List the three verses, and tell me, what does “call on the name of the Lord” mean?
