Introduction
Who is ready for fall?
Fall means harvest time
Everything we planted in the spring is now ready
Spring Born Calves
Corn
Rewarding time
As we transition from Sumer to fall I want to read some scripture that deals with not just physical seasons of life but personal changes of seasons
Ecclesiates 3:1-10
Ecclesiates 3:1-10
We have looked at Ecclesiates before Wrote by Solomon
He explored the why in alot of things? As we will see in this text
3:2- obviously this verse deals with beginning and end
To plant and harvest
3:3- time to kill and heal is like winter we may need to kill the plants and have rest
Tear down and restart
3:4- time to weep and dance deals with emotion private and public
3:5 throwing stones and picking up stones, I read a commentary on this and it made alot of sense that it could be dealing with bad land. We may need to throw some stones away and cover it up
To be held and sometimes we need to deal on our own
3:6 we all search and seek and we all give up the second half deals with possessions we store up on earth
3:7 this one is tough sometimes we have to tear apart and sometimes we have to sew together
Know when to speak up
3:8 this one deals with affections and national endeavors as long as they are divinely led
This text pretty much explains that there is literally a time or season for everything
we can be walking through just about anything and God designed it that way
Gods handywork
Enjoy life
There will be trouble or hardships
God is Always present
What I really want to look at today is the change in all these verses
Every one of them talks about changing from one thing to another
I really want to focus in on that what changes do we need to make today?
Just remember as we talk this morning you reap what you sow!
Where are you at?
Where are you at?
What season do you find yourself in?
Parent, Grandparent, student
The dreaming stage, the doing stage or the rebuilding stage
Planting or harvesting
Weeping or Dancing
Galatians 6
Before we can reap a harvest we have to be planting the right seeds
