Part 1 - Its So Hard To Say Goodbye

“I don't know where this road Is going to lead. All I know is where we've been. .And what we've been through… And if we get to see tomorrow. I hope it's worth all the wait. It's hard to say goodbye to yesterday” -Song by Boyz II Men
Ru 1:19–21 RSV “19 So the two of them went on until they came to Bethlehem. And when they came to Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them; and the women said, “Is this Naomi?” 20 She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi, call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. 21 I went away full, and the Lord has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi, when the Lord has afflicted me and the Almighty has brought calamity upon me?”
You have to be sensive to the unction letting you know that it is time to move.
Naomi was hurting but she was moving. She was upset but she was moving. She was suffering mentally but she was moving. She didn’t have hope for her tommorow but she was moving. Grieving and mourning but she was moving.
God doesn’t want you STUCK, so thatst why even in the puddle of her tears she has a feeling that she has to move.
Everbody is not called to go into this next chapter with you.
14 Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her. ( Ru 1:14.)
Everybody is not called to go into this next chapter with you, and although it is painful to say goodbye, some endings are necessary.‌
You must understand that just because I need you doesn’t mean that I need you. You have to know when you have served your purpose in a person’s life and when they have served their purpose in yours.
Don’t let loyalty delay you. ‌
You have to have someone who is determined to GO with you. Someone says I hear you and I understand that your not speaking from your heart but your speaking from your hurt. I hear you but I amn't going nowhere. I know what you said but I amn't going anywhere. ‌
There are people that god has anointed to endure with you. ‌
Don’t push away your help because your hurt.
I thank God for the people that will give you the space to heal but won’t allow you to stay still.
Damaged Goods
So while I was was studyung I heard the words “Damaged Goods”.
The defeniton: 1. products that are broken, cracked, scratched, etc. 2. informal : a person who is considered to be no longer desirable or valuable because of something that has happened.
Someone who was once healthy and/or normal but isn't anymore due to unfortunate, traumatic events in his/her life.
How to deal with a damaged good “ present proof to the seller or retailer that the item was damaged”. Once its been presented then what?
I asked the question… “how can a dmaaged good be repaired” and I heard the word “refurbished”.
The defention: What does “refurbished” mean? A refurbished product is one that has been expertly restored and tested by the manufacturer or qualified seller. Products are cleaned, repaired, and reconditioned to 100% functionality and then repackaged with new accessories.
Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Galatians :3-5 NLT
“And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world. But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. 5God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children”
You have entered into your NEW HORIZON.
the line at the farthest place that you can see, where the sky seems to touch the land.
Prayer at the altar
I declare Exodus 14. Just as Moses told the people I am telling TPR Army “Stand still and watch how the LORD will deliver you today, because you will never again see the Egyptians whom you're looking at today”.
