Close to the Fire - Dabbling in Sin

I am going to begin today with a weird word for us

Dabbling - What do you think it means to Dabble

We have a bad habit sometimes as Christians of wanting to claim Christianity while still keeping our foot in sin.

We want to keep a little bit of us in the world.

Why do you think people would seek to remain partially in the world when they are supposed to be fully redeemed by Jesus.

1 John 3:6 ESV

No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.

What does this verse mean to you?

You cannot live in sin and remain close to God
