( Love is to put above ourselves, it is to be patient with someone, to be kind, to be passionate about)

What do you think love looks like?

(True love looks like Jesus coming to earth to die for you and me)

What do you think the Bible says about love?

New Living Translation Chapter 13

34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

So, what does it tell us we need to do? Tells us we should LOVE one another like Jesus loves you. And when we love one another, it shows that we love God. And if you truly love God, you will love others. Even your sister, even your brother, even your enemies! God loves them, so we are to love them too.

We have started a series! Last week we talked about joy. Today we talked about love. Did you know that these things are called fruit of the spirit? So for the upcoming weeks, we will be learning about what the fruit of the spirit is and how we can apply them!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
