Doing Good within the Body
Doing Good within the Body
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Love One Another
Love One Another
For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
Live according to the Spirit
Live according to the Spirit
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
To live in the manner or rule of the Spirit of God
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Peace, peace between individuals, harmony, concord
Long–suffering. Forbearance, long–suffering, self–restraint before proceeding to action. The quality of a person who is able to avenge himself yet refrains from doing so
Zodhiates, Spiros. The Complete Word Study Dictionary: New Testament, Electronic ed., AMG Publishers, 2000.
Kindness to act kindly, to be kind, to be useful, profitable; to provide something beneficial for someone as an act of kindness
Goodness, zeal for goodness and truth, the quality or state of doing or producing good; active good; actively
The Complete Word Study Dictionary: New Testament (19. ἀγαθωσύνη agathōsúnē)
Agathōsúnē does not spare sharpness and rebuke to cause good (agathón) in others. A person may display his agathōsúnē, his zeal for goodness and truth, in rebuking, correcting, or chastising.
Meekness, mildness, forberance
Praotes (meekness) Primarily it does not denote outward expression of feeling, but an inward grace of the soul, calmness toward God in particular. It is the acceptance of God’s dealings with us considering them as good in that they enhance the closeness of our relationship with Him. However, praótēs encompasses expressing wrath toward the sin of man as demonstrated by the Lord Jesus
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Live or have life by the Spirit, let us also walk or live according to rule of the Spirit
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
RESTORING A FALLEN BROTHER
RESTORING A FALLEN BROTHER
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
BEARING A BROTHER’S BURDEN
BEARING A BROTHER’S BURDEN
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
Lowly Mindset
Lowly Mindset
For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
This is said in light of how Christians ought to treat one another
EXAMINING ONE’S WORK
EXAMINING ONE’S WORK
But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
BEARING ONE’S OWN LOAD
BEARING ONE’S OWN LOAD
For each one shall bear his own load.
But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.
This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.
For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Don’t Lose Heart in Doing Good
Don’t Lose Heart in Doing Good

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
