Holiness

Be Holy because I am holy! (1 Peter 1:16)

a. Seems like a tall order.
i. God didn’t really mean it?

iii. Of course, that is not the case.
b. One desire of my heart to is walk with God.
i. I want to dive deep.
ii. I want to know God.
iii. I want to hear from God.

Unresolved Sin

i. Unconfessed and unrepentant sin can create a barrier between you and God.
ii. 1 John 1:9 (NLT) — 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

The World Around Us.

i. You are lied too.
ii. What is good and holy has been made evil.
iii. This world’s influences have a powerful sway over us.
iv. 1 John 2:15 (NLT) — 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
1 John 2:15 NLT
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.

Negative Influences
