Witness of prophecy: John the Baptist is the forerunner of the Messiah. 1:19-28 2. Witness of God Himself: God reveals the identity of Jesus at His baptism. 1:29-34 3. Witness of Jesus’ teaching: Peter and Andrew hear Jesus’ teaching that confirms John the Baptist’s witness. 1:35-42 WITNESSES ABOUT JESUS 4. Each individual must choose how they will respond to it: believe or reject. • Believe Jesus is both God and your source of salvation. BELIEVE IN JESUS.
