1 Corinthians 13:11–13 (NKJV) 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Be Prepared- Ready

1 Peter 3:13–17 (NIV) 13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behaviour in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

Be Prepared Even through Persecution & Troubles

Fear- Psalm 27:1 (NKJV) 1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

2 Timothy 1:6–7 (NKJV) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Be Ready- Prepared- In Readiness

If you are prepared to do something, you are willing to do it if necessary.

Preparation- have you prepared what you will say to someone who asks?

Boy Scouts Motto- “Be Prepared” Be in a state of readiness in mind and body to do your duty

Dont Give- Judgement- Condemnation- Condesent- Arguements

Give Acceptance, Genuine Care, Forgiveness

Hope- There is a good future through and with Jesus. Things were dark but Jesus gave me hope and the strength to get through.

Faith- “God did this when things seemed impossible” “he healed my broken heart”

“He can do a miracle in you today...”

The Holy Spirit is With You

Acts 4:8–10 (NKJV)8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: 9 If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
